  • The novel better highlights the issues in the dinosaur's creation whereas in the movies only a superficial hint of that exists. For example, the Raptors in the first and second movie clearly were genetically altered to meet the theme park expectations. For other words, there are different versions of dinosaur made by InGen so their accuracy is completely proportional to their fame. The fourth movie could easily exploit that as a major story element.

  • I think that the Pteranadons from the end of the third movie should be worked in somehow; perhaps they fly to some island other than Isla Sorna. They would be a perfect candidate to bring a virus from Isla Sorna to the human world. The film should also circle around Hammond's grandchildren--I see the stegasaur lying on the beach and one of Hammond's grandchildren trying to help it, another homage to the first movie.

  • Great job man, would sound so much better with a real orchestra. It seems you really pushed it to the limit there. Love the part from 0:31 to 1:00. Its like the child version of th JP theme. I see a hole bunch of baby dinsaurs like in a petting zoo. ^^

  • @soundatstage thank you so much! I wish I could work with an orchestra! I would get a copy of EastWest libraries to give me a better sample bank, but I don't have the cash to even jokingly think about it XD. Also, people seldom seem interested in collaborating online, so I'm kind of stuck with this synthesized BS in the mean time. Let me ask you this; if they made JPIV, what should it be about?

  • @violinmerchant @violinmerchant

It should be about a disease coming from the dinosaurs which also infects humans. (a reference to the Triceratops in the first movie). I imagened the beginning with a Stegosaurs lying in the water near the beach during sunset, it would be a sad and also uneasy moment. This movie should be the darkest one so far. With some shock effects like the first one but still not cartoony like JP3

  • @soundatstage that's a really interesting idea. It reminds me of the beginning of the second book, when that carcass washes up in Costa Rica or wherever it was. It seems to me like there's no mystery left to the island, after they brought the T-rex back to San Diego. They tried with JPIII, and actually, in my opinion, one of the few things that worked about that movie was everybody's misconceptions about what was going on with the island in the 1st act.

  • @violinmerchant

They also tried to put all the ideas in that didn´t work out in the first or second one. The boat scene in JPIII was originally considered a raft scene in the first one. Or the Pteranodon scene was considered part of the climax in Lost World. But what they kept is an hommage to King Kong in every movie. The gat in JP1, the "Venture" and the beast in the city in JP2 and the battle between a T-rex and Kong, of course here it was the Spino.
