Just love how in :20 Blair has this 'now how am I gonna phrase this not to hurt his feelings' look. Who could blame her, Dan was absolutely cute with his 'I'm ready to get my photo taken' stance. I swear to god this scene reeked of affection and the scent was from Blair. She seemed disappointed too... I mean Blair Waldorf can't be this oblivious right?
What I don't get is why Vanessa is calling Serena. "Have to share"?? I mean what is that? Will telling Serena about a kiss between Blair and Dan that -supposedly- meant nothing change her situation? No. It'll make Dan hate her even more.
Ugh she's such a waste of air on this show. So glad she's replaced by Georgina/Ivy in season 5. At least their storyline is a bit more interesting. Even a lot more interesting than the Bass-business and its mess. Basically, I was just watching the Dairshow. :)

I was a huge Chuck fan, everything about him was so suave, so sexy and dead on... but now, his whispering have actually manage to bore me, so predictable, and well, there's Dan now, intelligent, charming, clumsy, looks good in a suit, I mean. DAIR FTW already!!!
Why would she have hidden in bed and pretended to be sick if she knew instantly that Chuck was the one for her? No, she felt something with Dan and she was too scared to admit it. You can tell by the way Dan looks at Serena that he doesn't want her. And the way Blair is actually sweet for once around Dan, "You look nice in that suit, by the way". DAIR FOR ENDGAME!

Well to me last night's episode was't that bad. in fact they gave us slight hints about the two all episode like if the kiss really didn't mean anything to her the she would have just gone to Chuck as soon as possible but she didn't because she was wrestling her feelings about Dan. She was in denial bout the two of them that she was about to run back to chuck but when she sees how he insults Dan she realises how awful that is and even apologizes to Dan. They are bound to happen.
chuck is a smug pretencious bastard. and OMFG the look on dans face when blair said it made her think of chuck was like he got punched in the GUT. awww dans totally fallen for blair. i love him and blair is an idiot if she chooses that basstard over someone as awesome as dan. but when one person harbors feeling for another it always resurfaces so im still hoping for the best for DAIR <3
I think that Blair did like the kiss (the way she said "oh right" she looked very disappointed) but she realizes she could never be with him and hurt Serena so she decided to not waste time with her future and settled with Chuck.

I'm quite sad and happy in a way. Sad because Dan and Blair seems to have feelings for each other and know that the kiss didn't' meant nothing to themselves and Happy because they DO have feelings for each other so it's kind of a big step for Dair.
Whenever i see Vanessa come on to my TV screen i literally scream "FUCK OFF" at the TV because with EVERY frickin' story line she has to come in and mess with it. I was so happy when she left for that short time but now the bitch is back. Yay.

Sooner or later they'll realize that they're meant to be, it's just going to take a while, Dair shall continue and the more moments we get the better right. Meanwhile we'll support the pairing with all the fury and unending devotion that's possible and maybe they'll become end game their relationship has had the most build up progression and changes to it, I'm confident that they're perfect for each other and so meant to be, and I think the writers clearly see Dair's potential also.
it is so damn frustrating!! they could have made her say anything, a "I am sorry, I didnt feel anything, expect a little revolted at kissing you" would hve been rude, but acceptable, but to say- "it made me realise I wanted to be with you" to chuck!! Blair fell in my eyes today!!! she really did, she better do something to deserve Humphrey after this! @pooh16dalakoti Yeah, it was kinda insulting since Dan was right there. But I think that was part of her denial and sheer refusal of her feelings for him. She went to Chuck because at least she knows what to expect with him and hoped he'd grown like she had, but she was dissapointed he had not and because Dan showed her she could do better turned him down. I also think seeing Serena after confronting Chuck made her add to not wanting to complicate her feelings for The Pauper.

Well my fellow Dair lovers she once again told Chuck he was below Dan as a human being, as for Dan they'll continue on having tension now between the characters because they really do have feelings for one another but are in denial, especially now Serena will find out which she'll go insane about. The one thing I don't see however is Blair choosing Chuck I think she was lying because her meetings with Dan were a secret between them so why not their feelings for each other also it's so Dair
@ToFindOneself I think Vanessa hoped that telling Serena would destroy Dan's relationship with Serena and with Blair leaving only herself to turn to. She wants Dan back, I think she won't even mind if its just as a friend. It's annoying but I can sorta see where she's coming from. Still she should've talk to Dan not go to Serena. After all it's not like she's close with Serena or ever was.

They keep talking about prince/princesses and that Dan is a toad. Aren't those stories basically the princess wants the "prince" but has the toad but in the end she realizes that the toad was the real prince.
Plus the way Blair looked at Dan and Serena almost was her being in denial, sorta like "well I'm in love so it has to be Chuck since Dan would never pick me over Serena sorta thing"
i luv the ending of this episode. They go back to being friends and talking. Dan caring that she just ends up happy :) even if she doesnt pick him. I hope GG shows Blair getting chosen over Serena, so she can know she can actually be first for once when it comes to her bff. I know they are already showing signs of this, but I want Blair to see it.
I was so disappointed with last night's episode, and I'm terrified Dair is over for good. Why did they even bother with all that buildup if they were going to let it fizzle out without giving it a chance? I feel like 4x17 and 4x18 were miles apart. They introduced random new characters and almost completely dropped the Dan/Blair plotline.
@mountaindew68 You need to look closer at the characters in the ep and you'll see it's not that bad. Yes it sucked blair saying she wanted Chuck. But if you think about it, you'll see how while Blair says she wants Chuck. Her actions speak differenly. She gets mad at Chuck for trying to humiliate Dan. She clearly defends Dan to him. Blair defending Dan to anyone let alone Chuck in the high society world speaks greatly of her growth and feelings for him. Hang in there, Dair's not over!
Dan is so sweet Blair doesn't deserve him. As much as I love Blair and Dair I wish she wasn't such a snob. She is so lucky that a guy like Dan likes her but she rejects him coz hes not part of "her world". Oh poor Dan neither Blair or Serena deserves you. Hopefully Blair can redeem herself...guess we will have to see.
I love the way Dan says affectionately, 'I know' when Blair says the photoshoot had nothing to do with her. *swoon* At least Blair has finally noticed what a babe he is, with her 'nice suit' comment.
And her wanting to return to Chuck is like her safety net. She knows she can always go back to that. She even knows that she's gonna get hurt(Basshole) but c'mon, what's easier? Return to what's there already or face a new thing? Blair is totally in denial :D

Actually, I'm kinda happy that turned out to be this way... We wouldn't get Blair just falling in love with Dan and they be happy for eternity, this is not fanfic(which I LOVE btw :D) To me I think they're are gonna invest even more in Dair and S5 will be the Dair season because Dan CLEARLY has feelings for her, and she has it for him too but she's in denial... That opens a lot of doors for some real angst with a happy ending :D Have hope Dair shippers! <3

@pooh16dalakoti I think Dan just needs to realize first that Blair also feels something for him before he'll do anything. Besides that I don't think Dan'll propose, it's just not him and it probably would have been in the preview for the last five eps. I'm routing for Louis for the engagement, because that'll just prove (to me) that she's running from her feelings, which to me makes the most sense. Chuck pressuring her will be a big part of the wanting to run away from it all for blair.
@DarkPhoenix13x I agree, but I think it'll be the season 5's storyline, she gets engaged to louis, and how Dan shows her that what she feels for him is real, and mre important than social hierarchy, and how theirs is the fairytale she has always wanted... but of course, for that to happen, blair will have to give a hint that she wants him/ feels something. It'll be down to those two lines dan has said to her....

@pooh16dalakoti Probably, I'm hoping it'll go that way. I don't however think Louis will be there much in S5 since he's a guest star and all. I'd find it more likely if Blair got engaged with Louis but in the final ep Blair realizes she can't marry him because she doesn't love him and comes back to find Serena and somehow finds out about her (Serena) still having deep feelings for Dan thus she doesn't go to him but Chuck and Dan sees them together getting the wrong message. OR...
@pooh16dalakoti same problem with 0 characters. or Jenny (whom I think will be back for an episde) teams up with Chuck to stop Dair. I can see that happening. Maybe Serena will even help Chuck break them apart since there was that scene of her telling the Prince about Dair in the preview of the final 5 eps of the season. However it wil play out, I'm just hoping it'll not end up with Chair or if it does it'll be in a way that it's build on deception so it won't last.
@DarkPhoenix13x Creatively speaking- Chair+ darena have, I am sorry to say - will be the death of the show, they are stale relationships, and all possible plots have been covered, Dair on the other hand, is refreshing- nt jst to see, but also to write (I mean who wldnt love writing dair!) and hve SO much potential, we hve jst scratchd the surface & look how they hve audiences and critics all excited desperately waitin fr wat is next, Dair hve revived a show that had died coz of stale plots....
@pooh16dalakoti I agree, Chair and Darena have run its course. Just think how Darena were when the got back together the last time. It didn't even last a day, neither were that interested in each other. As for Chair, well there only so much a person can take from an abusive relationship. Blair now has someone else to turn to, not to mention she's a better person when she's with Dan than she is with Chuck. I loved how she defended Dan to Chuck. @pooh16dalakoti I agree, also while in the beginning Serena challenged Dan (mostly in the social circles) there hasn't been an progress in his character since... well since he went to NYU. Blair challenges him (like getting him to write again) and listens to him to the point of actually taking an interest in his interests and vice vera (going to cultural events the other likes and they themselves didn't have interest in). I haven't seen Serena do that with Dan in forever and...

Also while part of me is dissapointed with Blair not realizing she wanted to be with Dan yet in last nights ep, I'm pleased with how she interacts with him and her defending Dan to Chuck. Small steps for Dair. I'll take those for now :)

@pooh16dalakoti I agree if they screw Dair up like have Blair catch Charlie and Dan at something since some people believe they might get at something and there's no hope for Dair S5 I'll also be done with the show. It'll be like being done with Gilmore Girls after finding out Rory and Jess would not end up together. Never watched the final season nor am I interested in it. I'll suspect that if Dair is screwed up S5 may be the last season for the series as well.

You know what would be funny; if the whole Dan/Blair/Chuck/Louis mess gets posted on Gossip girl in the final episodes and Gossip Girl put up a poll for her loyal readers to vote who they want with Blair and people were constandly voting and putting comments. Of course they'll be the comments added that will say Dan doesn't belong in the world, but also ones that critique how Chuck relationship with Blair has been abusive and how while romantic for an actual prince he doesnt know Blair that well

@pooh16dalakoti lol, I'd probably join you then go bathe in denial and read a fanfiction or two for a Dair-like ending before being done with it the entire fandom. Btw, I might've read this in another comment but seeing Chuck in this clip really reminds me of when Dan for the lack of a better term "bonded" with Chucks' father and he got jealous and angry. I think at some level Chuck might also know that Dan is better than him cause not only his late father but also Blair seem to like him.

As for Chuck, well he's desperate for someone to love him. He's always had Blair but now she's been pulling away and he sees she's close with Dan and gets jelous and thus does a scheme to control the situation and with extension Blair. Im glad it blewup in his face
@DarkPhoenix13x I agree, he is like a child, and blair is that toy he has in the corner but never really looks at it and plays arnd with new toys (eva, raina) but the minute someone else even comes close to that toy he throws a temper tantrum! and sadly it wrks and blair forgives watevr he has done and goes bck to him, I am glad it didnt happen like that this time! the epi was significant only this way, it shows she has found it in herself to tell chuck to go the hell away, rather than give in
@DarkPhoenix13x I totally agree, it is Dan who has made her believe in herself again, made her see she deserves a proper relationships, no schemes, no games, but a nice loving HEALTHY relationship, which she can hve only with dan... I feel the louis thing is jst so Blair can get ovr her fantasy of being a princess and realize, that her fairytale romance's prince charming has been sitting in Brooklyn all along! I think in the next ep someone posts a photo or vid of Dair kissing on GG so hopefully we'll see how that pans out then. Wonder how Blair will react too, I fear she'll try to downplay what it was and meant since she and the Prince will still be dating/seeing each other. I'm also curious how Rufus will react. @pooh16dalakoti I so agree, I've been waiting to see some Dair since well since S3. But no we got that movie star and Vanessa instead with Dan and of course more Chair! There were of course the few moments of Dair in between but not nearly enough. I'm glad they finally gave them a chance and hope they'll continue and not get Derena and Chair again unless to test Dair so Dair can grow stronger/closer.

What I don't get is why Vanessa is calling Serena. "Have to share"?? I mean what is that? Will telling Serena about a kiss between Blair and Dan that -supposedly- meant nothing change her situation? No. It'll make Dan hate her even more.

Well to me last night's episode was't that bad. in fact they gave us slight hints about the two all episode like if the kiss really didn't mean anything to her the she would have just gone to Chuck as soon as possible but she didn't because she was wrestling her feelings about Dan. She was in denial bout the two of them that she was about to run back to chuck but when she sees how he insults Dan she realises how awful that is and even apologizes to Dan. They are bound to happen.

Sooner or later they'll realize that they're meant to be, it's just going to take a while, Dair shall continue and the more moments we get the better right. Meanwhile we'll support the pairing with all the fury and unending devotion that's possible and maybe they'll become end game their relationship has had the most build up progression and changes to it, I'm confident that they're perfect for each other and so meant to be, and I think the writers clearly see Dair's potential also.

She went to Chuck because at least she knows what to expect with him and hoped he'd grown like she had, but she was dissapointed he had not and because Dan showed her she could do better turned him down. I also think seeing Serena after confronting Chuck made her add to not wanting to complicate her feelings for The Pauper.

Maybe I'm giving the writers too much credit but:
They keep talking about prince/princesses and that Dan is a toad. Aren't those stories basically the princess wants the "prince" but has the toad but in the end she realizes that the toad was the real prince.
Plus the way Blair looked at Dan and Serena almost was her being in denial, sorta like "well I'm in love so it has to be Chuck since Dan would never pick me over Serena sorta thing"

I was so disappointed with last night's episode, and I'm terrified Dair is over for good. Why did they even bother with all that buildup if they were going to let it fizzle out without giving it a chance? I feel like 4x17 and 4x18 were miles apart. They introduced random new characters and almost completely dropped the Dan/Blair plotline.

But if you think about it, you'll see how while Blair says she wants Chuck. Her actions speak differenly. She gets mad at Chuck for trying to humiliate Dan. She clearly defends Dan to him. Blair defending Dan to anyone let alone Chuck in the high society world speaks greatly of her growth and feelings for him. Hang in there, Dair's not over!

Besides that I don't think Dan'll propose, it's just not him and it probably would have been in the preview for the last five eps. I'm routing for Louis for the engagement, because that'll just prove (to me) that she's running from her feelings, which to me makes the most sense. However it wil play out, I'm just hoping it'll not end up with Chair or if it does it'll be in a way that it's build on deception so it won't last.

@DarkPhoenix13x I agree, but I hate that she said the kiss made her realise she wanted to kiss only chuck! that was revolting to me, but I also LOVE that she was pissed coz chuck tried to humiliate Blair, it shows she feels something and is in Denial... God I hope they have a Dair cliffhanger , something telling us that DAIR will happen when they go out this season... coz otherwise, I wldnt be interested to even bother abt season 5

@pooh16dalakoti I agree if they screw Dair up like have Blair catch Charlie and Dan at something since some people believe they might get at something and there's no hope for Dair S5 I'll also be done with the show. It'll be like being done with Gilmore Girls after finding out Rory and Jess would not end up together. Never watched the final season nor am I interested in it. I'll suspect that if Dair is screwed up S5 may be the last season for the series as well.

@DarkPhoenix13x I so agree, without them I am not interested inGG and it's stale, tried and tested plots! and seriously, them going back to Chair/ Darena will be creative suicide! I wnt de surprised aftr that, if the writers puty their hands up and themselves say "we have had enough" coz if it is so frustrating going about in circles for us, and always seeing such pathetic plots played out how creatively unsatisfying must it be writing them!

You know what would be funny; if the whole Dan/Blair/Chuck/Louis mess gets posted on Gossip girl in the final episodes and Gossip Girl put up a poll for her loyal readers to vote who they want with Blair and people were constandly voting and putting comments. Of course they'll be the comments added that will say Dan doesn't belong in the world, but also ones that critique how Chuck relationship with Blair has been abusive and how while romantic for an actual prince he doesnt know Blair that well

@pooh16dalakoti lol, I'd probably join you then go bathe in denial and read a fanfiction or two for a Dair-like ending before being done with it the entire fandom. Btw, I might've read this in another comment but seeing Chuck in this clip really reminds me of when Dan for the lack of a better term "bonded" with Chucks' father and he got jealous and angry. I think at some level Chuck might also know that Dan is better than him cause not only his late father but also Blair seem to like him.

DarkPhoenix13x I knw!! if they dnt do DAIR I will never once look back at GG, and I agree, Chuck felt threatened that is why he tried humiliating him, coz he knew that Dan is a better person, and if Blair is with him, then it is nt one of those "fine let's date him until Chuck gets free" relationships, but is in fact a real relationship... or my Dair love is making me see things, I hope the next epi isnt as disappointing was

@pooh16dalakoti we can only hope the next ep will be better. As far as I can tell from the promo and the preview of the final 5 eps it'll be better for Dair since it has a Dair kiss in it :D
As for Chuck, well he's desperate for someone to love him. He's always had Blair but now she's been pulling away and he sees she's close with Dan and gets jelous and thus does a scheme to control the situation and with extension Blair. Im glad it blewup in his face

@DarkPhoenix13x I agree, he is like a child, and blair is that toy he has in the corner but never really looks at it and plays arnd with new toys (eva, raina) but the minute someone else even comes close to that toy he throws a temper tantrum! and sadly it wrks and blair forgives watevr he has done and goes bck to him, I am glad it didnt happen like that this time! the epi was significant only this way, it shows she has found it in herself to tell chuck to go the hell away, rather than give in

@DarkPhoenix13x I totally agree, it is Dan who has made her believe in herself again, made her see she deserves a proper relationships, no schemes, no games, but a nice loving HEALTHY relationship, which she can hve only with dan... I feel the louis thing is jst so Blair can get ovr her fantasy of being a princess and realize, that her fairytale romance's prince charming has been sitting in Brooklyn all along! I jst hope she gets her obsession with Royalty out of her system soon and goes to Dan.

@pooh16dalakoti Yeah and since Dorota was the one to first tell Blair about finding love, good love I really hope she'll see that Dair is or could be that love and then tell Blair that.
I hope the Louis thing is like you said, the chance for Blair to get the whole "I wanna be a princess" thing out of her system. 'Cause they really do not know each other. He's suddenly going to find her at this point in time. A little strange, there has to be a reason for why he is looking for her now.

Plus Chuck doesnt even mke sense, evn GG labelled Dan as the "Ultimate Insider" so he does belong to there wrld!

@pooh16dalakoti Yeah, that's why I'm hoping to hear something for Gossip Girl in the upcoming eps and her opinion on the matter. I think in the next ep someone posts a photo or vid of Dair kissing on GG so hopefully we'll see how that pans out then. Wonder how Blair will react too, I fear she'll try to downplay what it was and meant since she and the Prince will still be dating/seeing each other. I'm also curious how Rufus will react. He seemed relieved when he suspected before but Dan denied it

Yes Dan'll probably be hurt too, but far less since he wasn't gonna propose to her. This may very well be finally the end of Chair. I know I shouldn't get ahead of myself but I'm still hoping.

I want dair, I think dair will be in next season, and in this one she will get engaged to Louis, but see how terribly wrong she is later on - since u CANNOT go right with marrying a guy after wat 5 dates?! I hate this, I jst hope god gives writers some sense and they dnt give in to the chair-fanatics and man up and go the DAIR way already!! 4 seasons of waitin and such a disappointing filler episode

@pooh16dalakoti I so agree, I've been waiting to see some Dair since well since S3. But no we got that movie star and Vanessa instead with Dan and of course more Chair! There were of course the few moments of Dair in between but not nearly enough. I'm glad they finally gave them a chance and hope they'll continue and not get Derena and Chair again unless to test Dair so Dair can grow stronger/closer.

@DarkPhoenix13x I knw, S3 ffor both Dan and Blair was jst sad, they shld hve had them interact a bit mre, but at least the groundwrk fr their friendship was some-what laid in S3. Darena and Chair are really those fairytale romances that have no substance. and Now 4 seasons later they hve even ceased to mke sense! Dair on the other hand can nt only be a healthy, mature relationship, but can also be fun and very interesting to watch. Darena jst put me to sleep, and Chair mke the woman in me weep

And Raina is gonna find out about her mom, so Chuck's gonna suffer a bit too. He deserves it for being such an spoiled ass that never has to grow up.

@DarkPhoenix13x well it will be, at least we will hve a bit mre of Dair interaction, I am happy abt that.. and frm the title, the princesses and the frog, also sounds like an epi which might hve a lot of Dair. Andyway the knowledge that there will be no chuck in the next epi, already has my spirits lifted. and abt Raina's mom, yes, some facts are gonna come out, in JP's interview he said, "chuck will reach a very dark place" which will obviously happen in "shattered Bass"...

@pooh16dalakoti which must the bearded Chuck arguing with Nate we saw in the final 5 ep preview. Chuck might also decide to propose in that ep. It seems every time Chuck makes a mistake concerning his relationship with Blair he decides to propose to fix it. First sleeping with Jenny. Now demeaning Dan when she and Dan have obviously at least become friends.

@DarkPhoenix13x yes I agree, he trades her for the hotel, he goes buys the ring, and gives her an ultimatum to come to the empire state building, or he closes his heart to her forever, then he proposes aftr sleeping with jenny humphrey, and now, after eva, and after telling Raina "you are sacred to me" and demeaning Dan, he wants to propose again, wow! it is like he thinks the answer to every solution is- buyng her a rock and saying the lame line- "we are chuck and blair" urgh!

God I wish I really do that Dair end up together!!

@pooh16dalakoti We'll have to wait for more promo's and sneak peaks to come out to find more Dair scenes after next weeks ep. I still don't get why a hot guy like Louis, who's also royalty, comes all the way to NY to get Blair, a girl he's only spend a couple of hours with. It makes no sense in my mind. There has to be more to it!
As for Chuck's promblem-proposal complex, I'm contributing that to him not being a grown up but a whiny child. Like Blair says, he's got years of maturing to do!

I jst really hope the GG writers finally get some sense and dnt screw up Dair- the only thing that makes sense in GG at the moment...!!

i'm so disappointed of last night's episode !!! i would hate it if the writers ruin our Dair !!! Dan definitely has feelings for her !!! i think Blair does too but is not gonna admit it !!!! it would be a shame to kill Dair before they even got started !!! so angry right now :(
