seriously dissapointed... this is indeed cheating when you know all the awnsers beforehand, half the fun of this game is having a notebook full of cryptic word puzzles. the moose will be: ''weeds'' thumbs up if you recognize this :)
That was pretty inventive of you. But doesn't "I lost it" count as a cheat code? I didn't even know you could teleport straight to Lord Xeen. I consider that a cheat too.
@Ssschah14 Hmm... yup... rough calls, any way you slice it. The video DOES say "speed run" as opposed to a "no cheat speed run"... but MM4 & 5 are definitely games where there were PURPOSELY so many "exploits" you could use once you knew what words to type and where to go.
I guess if you want to see a MM4 or 5 speed run WITHOUT usage of the "I lost it" cheat... that would at least be a big step in the right direction. To me... using the mirror is fair play though. :)

I've played them all. Xeen was me fav until 8, Day of the Destroyer. That one rocked. Liked 6, but man was that hard! Wish someone would bring it back, an updated original format, not DM type. Thanke for the post, brings back memories.
the thing is i bet you are good enough that you could've beaten it legitimately in like only ~20-30minutes by running through for the required megacredits
World of Xeen was my favorite pc rpg of my youth 2nd only to the original Lands of Lore which didn't get the respect it deserved considering it even had captain picard's voice in it. Too bad part 2 and 3 lacked the same charm. They just don't make em like they used to.
I disagree... if you think that is a legitimate speed run... you should finish in aprox 10 secs or less.... just going to the mirror and spelling "showtime" (shows the ending)...
When i saw only 6 mins... i knew you were cheating... using "i lost it" in the mirror clearly was a major shortcut.... but World of Xeen is a game to be played for monthes, not minutes!
Okay, I admit it. That was pretty damned impressive. But how do you plan to top yourself and not only defeat Alamar, but ALSO unite the two sides of XEEN into one round planetoid? (And furthermore, what kind of mess would that make of the world anyway? I always imagined SOMETHING bad happened SOMEWHERE when Roland, Kalindra, and the Dragon Pharoah did that. XD)
The animation looks really good on this game especially for those times where it was point and click only.

It's not a speed run, when you cheat your way through it. I could surely beat alot of speedruns, if I noclipped my way through. Thumbs down.
