So my beauty revolution is very recent. I'm over 50 and just got tired of looking in the mirror and seeing old. I have a ton of B.E. products as they are good at tutoring, I have never felt confident about makeup. I have recently watched tons of videos ( thank you for all yours) and now put on makeup most days and this tired saggy stay at home mom is now looking' a bit hot!

just wait till your my age. i'm just turning 40, and havent really worn makeup in years and have to start all over again....you have kids and aren't going to work, not going out, just lose all your reasons to really wear makeup, then one day you go back to work and get your life back and have to start fresh. my skin has changed, styles have changed, prices have definitely changed.....fun.

I'm 23 and all through high school all I would wear was a slab of black eyeliner on my lids, poorly matched foundation and nothing else.

Then for two years after high school I basically wore nothing.

Now I have a steadily growing makeup collection.

I enjoy lipstick/blush were I hated them before.

Im 22 years old and my makeup routine changed A LOT during last year... I used to apply lots of black eyeliner on my top lash line.. kinda Amy Winehouse-ish look... I wouldnt leave home without it, it just made me feel confident... Now I just apply mascara and leave.. it was a big step for me to change that, I feel alot happier.

i'll respond the tag via here ... let's compare to when i started college (4 years ago)

1. i never thought i could pull of short hair (now all I do is cut it shorter and shorter)

2. always wanted to be tan (trying to be pale)

3. thicker eye brows (not thick, but not thin)

4. sparse eye liner (LOVE playing with it; be it natural looking, cat eye, pin up style, etc)

5. skin regimen (as i age, i take care of it more, washing, toning, moisturizing, anti wrinkle...)

My makeup has gone from red lipstick (and nothing else) to super goth to very minimal. I definitely prefer the minimal with just clean, dewy skin. Noxema is my best friend, and always has been. I'm just a teen so I have a ways to go and time to change.

May I just mention a little compliment? I took your advice on the Revlon Colourburst lipsticks and I have found the PERFECT red for myself called 'Crimson' I am fair with yellow undertone, and that colour look absolutely perfect on me. And I was so amazed because i paid less for something which I love. I have really dry skin and I have eczema too, which doesn't help! I moisturize once in the morning (Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser) and once at night (Aqueous Cream). I also exfoliate every other day. But my skin is still dry and flaky! My foundation looks horrible. :( Any tips? xo

My biggest change is that I have found my HG skincare products - the Clarisonic Mia, Neutrogena pink grapefruit cleanser, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, and Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum. I learned a lot with YT makeup videos since 2006. I try to use more colors, after I used only black and grey in my eyes.I was used makeup eyes only at night.

Today, I apply foundation with the brush right and I use more colors in my eyes in my makeup day. I always hated greens and browns in my eyes...look my picture in my channel here in YT...hahaha It's green and brown !

Just wearing makeup in general. Before I would apply it just for "special occasions" or randomly. Now I beat my face just about everyday. Even if I'm bumming around the house I may play around with some eyeshadows. Becoming more comfortable in applying makeup, discovering what colors work, what i like, building my collection, etc. Contouring! I never did it before now I do everyday. Blush too. Great video!

My beauty evolution has recently involved more pink/nude tones rather than browns for both my lip and eye colors. I also used to do dark shadow, but overtime realized I look much younger and fresher with a light eye and lots of lashes instead.
