One time I rented "Fall of a Tyrant" and dubbed it over a blank VHS tape. Every time I would watch it I still get chills when I see this promo ad before the episodes start. I was 9 at the time when the Frieza Saga was ending, so it's been more than 10 years. I love Dragon Ball Z, and despite the silliness of FUNimation for bastardizing the script, it's still the most memorable to me. Too bad the Saiyan Saga re-dubs sucked.

We used to play as DBZ characters as kids when I was in 2nd / 3rd grades. When this episode came out EVERYONE wanted to be Trunks. It was like Goku and Vegeta did not exist. I'm in college now but I still remember how we used to have sleepovers and watch DBZ on Toonami. Man I wish I could go back to childhood for a day or two :P
