I have thought about what you said. I apologize for my earlier comments. I still believe that genetic engineering can help future generations, but I agree that as of right now, that is irrelevant. I acknowledge that autistic people are humans too.

After thinking about what you are trying to do, I have come to the conclusion that what you are doing is right. I was in a bad state of mind when I wrote those comments.

I'd like to apologize too that I called you a "Nazi" in the other thread. That was too strong, but i was tired.

Genetic engineering could help people and it does, but in special cases like screening out every human variety called "syndrome" we have to be very careful.

Just, like a drug. A drug to cure this fucking disease, or syndrome, or whatever the fuck you want to call it. Its the bane of my fucking life. I want out, now.

The only thing that helps me is amphetamine... and thats illegal.

Amphetamines are self-medication for ppl with AD(H)D. You can try the legal methylphenidate.

For AS I suggest to focuss on the positive side. And don't let others decide about your view at your personality and the possibilities of that.

Most ppl with Aspergers who want to be cured are bullied or discriminated because of being different. Society is the real pain in the ass, and the pressure to "function" like a robot.

Your videos are crap. It's called a genetic defect, not a genetic normality. Defect, not normal. Maybe you're the one who needs to understand things, not the normal ones.

WHO calles it a defect? Non-autistic people are not able to talk in complete sentences with 18 month or to read books with 3 years. They are not able to calculate. They are not able to have a simple conversation with the other sex without giving sexual connotations into it.

They must have a genetic defect, but unfortunately they are the majority.

They don't have to tell me what a defect is or a disese or a disability. We autistic people do have the right of self-designation and definition.

It seems that you are trying to cope with your problems by convincing others that it is not a problem.

Perhaps I'll have an autistic child one day. I'll have to see how I deal with it, but I don't think I'll go around saying that others have the problem, not the autistic kid.

I enjoy my life like anyone else. But I'm kind of angry about people who tell me that genetic engeneering could prevent poeple from suffering. Indeed the autistic kid has the problem with ignorance and violence and thats why it suffers. Because the others make him suffer. What sense does it make to say: "Because there are too many intolerant idiots, the kid shouldn't be born" ?

Do I have to have problems? Am I indebted to suffer? I'm sorry that I don't have any problems with Asperger's. But people like you will continue to call for a designer race, no matter what we say.

I'm sure you if you had an autistic child you would tell the kid that it's its problem that the others beat it up.

I'm not the best with understanding people and their ways, and I assume you're not as talented as I am when it comes to languages and understanding them. Each of us has his own talents and problems, that's it. We're not defect, and you neither.

Tabletten machen einen nicht "funktional". Diese Tabletten sind für Leute mit Psychosen und wenn man keine hat - hat man als Aspie ja nicht zwangsweise - hat man nur die Nebenwirkungen und die Sedierung. Was für ein "Fachmann" ist das denn?

I wrote back that the only effects of this pills - designed especially for people with psychoses - on non-psychotic people are side effects like sedation.)

cont.: Mit den Ängsten ist es genauso. Ich habe Angst vor lauten, überfüllten Rave-Clubs, denn ich habe Angst vor Overloads. Also bringt es nichts, die Angst herabzusetzen, man müsste außerdem die Sensorik herabsetzen und dann merke ich nicht, wenn mir jemand mit der Zigarette ein Loch in die Hose brennt.

Das ist eine gute Idee. Asperger ist nicht AD(H)S. Natürlich kann man auch als Autist AD(H)S haben oder eine andere Form von Konzentrationsstörung. Aber das sollte ein Fachmann schon abklären und nicht einfach so von einem Menschen verlangen, dass er sein Gehirn auf Dauer schädigt um den Anforderungen der Leistungsgesellschaft gerecht zu werden.
