I am a W1 in the Army and i was gonna comment on this vid but my battles already got to em for me lol. i have a couple of pt failures and i was looking for a different approach since now im in the national guard after years of active. but i wont find here lol... ohh that shirt if u were in the service you would know the pride we take in our uniform.. but new recruits run 2 miles every other day in different areas in btwn those days atleast 80 push ups n sit ups with in a hour rest on sunday gdlk
what the fuck? that's such bull. for one, that's not even the right starting position or the right way we count and sound off in cadence. and for two, that's a disgrace of our uniform, even if it is pt. wear the uniform right and respect it!
you back on the block son? Best tuck in that fucking shirt. where's you high speed bottoms anyway? you are more ate up than a cock sandwich at a gay bar.
Soldiers 1. Instructor keeps until 25 have been executed. On 25 voice is exacurated to sound that the exercise is coming to end, breaking the cadence. soldiers:halt! Instructor:(moves to the position of attention.)position of attention.
soldiers:position of attention. Instructer:move soldiers:1,2. End exercise.
pre training for the military? Guy you went over a freaking pushup...take of that shirt you douche. If you were in the army you would at least get the uniform right, jeeze.
The push-ups are usually in-cadence (4-count). Drill sergeant says "The push-up" Soldiers echo "the Push-up Drill Sergeant!" Drill sergeant says "In-cadence.....exercise" On 1 we all go down, on 2, we go up, on 3 we go back down, and on 4, we go up and yell the corresponding repetition. So in other words, you have done twice as many push-ups as the number or repetition you are on.
This guy is making it look wayyyyyy easier haha im not even in yet and i know that, and if you have problems with what he did in this video...ah man your going to go through hell because i bet this is nothing compared to the other challenges they have you go threw..id suggest you work out...ALOT
haha, to all the to be new recruits watching this, good luck with your Basic but dont rely too much on this video. no matter what you do you wont be ready for this its going to be a shock. just stay fit and keep positive
@ben12342666 thank you for the advise i am not a recruit but i want to join the usmc if you are a active or a veteran i want to tank you for your service to are country
its actually the " the push up! (drill sergeant)...the push up drill sergeant!!!(recruit) Ready! Move! (drill sergeant) ready begin 1, 2, 3 (drill sergeant) 1!! (recruit) x 4 , halt! (recruit) position of attention...move! (drill sergeant)
Just do the exercises you'll be smoked with or do for PT.
It all depends on age and sex dude. Different standards for different age groups and sex.
Some advice from an actual Soldier being myself. Just do push-ups, sit-ups, run, flutter kicks, mountain climber, abdominal crunch, abdominal twist, pull-ups, crunches, and march with a 70 lb backpack for a mile, then two, then three...all the way up to 12 miles. Take it easier at first.
BCT sucks, but just stay mentally strong and keep fighting.

how about when they drop you and make you go halfway down and hold your pushup in that position. I know they did this a lot in my navy bootcamp.
