@DudeGuyPerson64 plus his attack radius from an air down-A attack is much larger in melee, you actually have to hit your opponent with your sword in brawl, and the spin attack is much smaller and not as powerful as well, he can't throw a bomb for shit, the gale boomerang is annoying and not as good as the normal one, his bow is ok, his smash attacks are not as powerful, and he's not as fast, and floats in the air too much making attacks slower in succession. so yes, he is nerfed hardcore... lol.

This is like an epic Naruto fight!! For marth, I certainly believe you are a pro; what I have discovered is that when your opponent is insanely aggressive countering is a game-saver and the dolphin slash( up-b) really helps you get your opponent out of your face and it's pretty powerful!

It's really weird. Melee has a lot more techniques to memorize, and requires more skill, but for some reason, I do better in Melee than I do in Brawl. I have no idea why...

@ThePerson1256 i hace the same problem, and i discovered that in brawl, when i play, its like my character is lagging behind what i do because in melee you did like 7 attacks in 5 seconds, and you dodged 2 and shielded 1.

if you try that in brawl, the moment you think youve done your 7th attack, your character is still doing number 3, gets hit when you try to dodge and is still staggered when you wanna shield...

I wouldnt go right to god. If you look at the smash wiki tier list, youl see that Marth is up near the top while link is somwhere in the middle. The tier list doesnt always tell you which character would win. This happens to be a pretty good matchup for link though. One of Marth`s only weaknesses is that he has no projectiles or any real defense against them accept for the obvious shield and dodge. Well, Link is pretty uber in the projectiles department. he put it to use and won.

Good fight between two players. I rarely see good Link players, so that was a welcome change. And yea, I vastly prefer Melee over Brawl. It just seems like they simplified a lot of what made Melee such a great and competitive game when they were making Brawl.

theres nothing to melee, theres only wavedash which isnt very useful, only sometimes. brawl has so many more techniques.

There is SO MUCH mor technique in Melee. You could waveland, wave shine, waveshield, sticky feet, moon walk (yes you can lol), you can do so much more combos, shffl (short hop, free fall, arial, L-cancel), dash dance, dance cancel, crouch cancel, pivot, Jc grab, teching, chain throws, (not sure about DI), and powershield.

There is a variety with each character and the combos differ too.

Melee is SO MUCH MORE better than BRAWL.

Americans worked very hard to open up brawl and actually added alot of things many players felt brawl should have come with. @TheOzzMan22 I'd been ranting about it too after reading the SSBB tier list on SmashWiki. 64 Link had had the worst recovery move in the game. M. Link was lower-middle tier thanks to the hookshot. But now the Clawshot is nerfed and his back to the bottom. Sometimes I wonder if Nintendo EVER looked at the tier lists for their characters before deciding what to do with them.

It's has smaller range, and if that wasn't bad enough it actually needs to be charged for about 3 seconds to be even close to as powerful as it was in either Melee OR 64! Who was it that developed SSBB? HAL Lab? They're clearly not Zelda fans. Or maybe they just didn't like Twilight Princess, which is why Toon Link is the highest placed Zelda character on the tier list. Who knows.
