Nice locations but I dont understand why you didnt farm it on HM. FoW or UW is really easy with necro 55 even in HM. After update with skeletons of dhumm it is still possible, because I farmed there :P

i've done some hydra's myself with ss necro, but i heard they changed ss so that foe's run away after a while now ... is this true ?

nope, ss still doesn't cause scatter, but if you have a large number of enemies on you at once then they scatter and basically take turns attacking you, so if the enemy you hexed swaps with another, it gets frustrating
