  • GREATTTTTTTT

  • @doghousepiiman - exactly my sentiments DGP, one does wonder....(perhaps they were hoping to follow in the footsteps of bands like nirvana and pearl jam -blech!) but what do we do? enjoy the great stuff, be grateful for it and look around at all the newer bands that are putting out tracks that rock! and thanks to youtube, there a many, many, many and easy to find!

  • @davidpenna - Thanks Dave, I spend way too much time complaining about how things should be instead of the way they are....if this is what they like, so be it!

    Thanks again for the reminder.

  • Sad how far they've gone from their glorious roots in the 8O's.....Loudness, R.I.P.

  • @LucifersLapdog I used to think that too; now I'm relistening to the more recent albums; I loved "Law Of Devil's Land", "Disillusion" etc from the get-go but some music takes time to grow on me before I appreciate it. Loudness should do whatever comes natural to them; we can choose to listen or not.

  • @LucifersLapdog

When they started chasing whatever the trendy sound was, they lost their identity and became a mediocre band with a lot of wasted talent. Like this song. There's absolutely nothing to it, and all I can do is wonder why they even bothered recording it, let alone make a video for it...It's hard to believe that the band that released such classics as "Disillusion" recorded this generic snoozefest.

  • This is why racism is pointless. You just miss out on good bands from the other side of the world.

  • I remermber seeing this live from Osaka on 2005 great show, great venue majestic sound RIP Munetaka!!!

  • great band ,great song :D

  • sounds like Nu-metal

  • Yeah, this kind of takes away any meaning for the existence of Loudness. Aren't there already far too many bands doing this kind of redundant, meaningless stuff? Why does a talented band like Loudness need to do crap like this? A complete waste of Akira's talent.

  • hm,seems they chanched their style completly, just bought 2 days ago the hurricane eyes album....hm,this one sounds like korn..dont like that....

  • for the retards who say "this is loudness being Korn" or "selling out" this came about about a DECADE after Korn/nu-metal came out so I think they would've jumped on that earlier....anyone who plays music knows you change/evolve/go back...etc...they jam period..old/new forever..blow me if you disagree...no don't

  • ナイス凄くカッコいい

  • sounds like pantera

  • @Merglith

Aggreed man. its a shame shame coz i kinda wanted to like this band but they just dont stand out to me atall.

  • cool story bro.

  • Nobody really cares that it didn't catch your interest but you're definitely not the one to be judging the style of this band.

  • by nobody you mean you. two others have agreed with me. your defence in this thread was just a poor one. a band can change style early on - i accept that. but when a band changes style often i can not. theres already a name for that, and it is metallica... now Fuck Trends and Fuck Posers.

  • Apparently you just didn't like it and so are the "minorities" here that agreed with you. That's just your perspective and your opinion. And if they're addressed as heavy metal in magazines and in interviews, then they're heavy metal bands whether they don't sound like the bands you like or not. Although I do kind of agree that it doesn't really sound like heavy metal. But it's the music that matters. I don't see the point of complaining over a genre.

  • This is amazing!

  • what album is it from?

  • from their 2004 release "Racing"

  • great thnx. Think i'm gonna buy the cd online

  • its really diforent then there older stuff

  • かっこいい!

    この声は2年や3年じゃだせねえよ

  • J-Metal?

  • Go Akira Go!!!!!!! Man he kills it!!! Rock On Loudness :)

  • Loudness kicks ass! Korn can go screw themselves. I didn't know Munetaka died, but I just found out. Rest in Peace Munetaka.

  • Riposa In Pace, Munetaka.

    Loudness for ever.

  • rip muneteka

  • LOUDNESS is always a senior than KORN.

    They are pioneers.

  • fuck u dane 393

Loudness exist´s MUCH longer then Korn

Korn would sound like Loudness not loudness like korn wtf?

    R.I.P Munetaka Higuchi

  • Rest in Peace Munetaka Higuchi. You kicked some serious ass on the skins. Us true Loudness fans will miss ya. Black Star Oblivion

  • omg everybody complaining that Loudness isn't that band which was in the 80's, if they were playing same music they wouldn't even had chance to break trought and play over sea in states and europe. The style had changed but hell they music is great. If you don't like it don't listen to it. And the korn issue - listen to both bands and discover huge differences between both bands

  • dude, korn sucks and in NO WAY will they be able to match a tenth of loudness's talent. Loudness is better whether its vocals, guitars, bass, leads (which, surprise surprise, korn dont have). lets face it jon davis is a transvestite that only WISHES he was a girl hooker and doesnt have HALF the melody Loudness vocalist does. thats all i have to say.

  • HEAVY , HEAVY , GREAT SONG!!!

  • I saw them do this song in concert in Chicago.

    wow

  • GO LOUDNESS FOREVER !!

  • Akira is funny with the fake dreads.

  • to be able to achieve longevity in this business you have to re-invent yourself again and again......they definitely did and they're all in their 40's or so.....shiz these guys sound like KORN

  • yeah.. totally

  • this is not the loudness i once knew..,

  • oh whatever these guys are as awesome now as they were back in the day

  • I know D loudness kicked ass back in the 80's I mean Like Hell and Crazy Nights were kick ass.

  • AKIRA/LOUDNESS RULE

  • I think it's cool \m/

  • I agree! Their sound really did change a lot. But I still like this sound though :D

  • Wow really heavy, reminds me of korn. I prefer their older stuff but people changes, their views and emotions change, and this is the result of their new style.

  • KoRN? Jonathan Davis never screamed like this guy. Nor did Korn use any guitar solos. But then, I never listened to Korn all that much, so I might be wrong.

  • loudness have a terrible sound now, I got one of akira's solo albums and its really bad -.- what happened to them?

  • I never listened to this band before, but have to say this song kicks ass really :) Really wants me to start smashing my head, because this song owns :)

  • isnt loudness u_u

    fuck big corporations

  • sounds like korn

  • I love this song, even if it doesn't sound like the old Loudness...but. Anyone else noticed the guitar riff sounds almost exactly like the song 'Scorpio' from the TRAX?

  • Good song for a movie soundtrack, but modern bleh.

  • you're right, it probably took them under 15 minutes to put it all together..all in the key of "E" and some weak solos...

  • Can't see what You mean with the "key of E", when the song seems to be in D.

  • @HebinoMetaru There's a difference between being in Drop D, playing in the key of D and being in Drop D, playing in the key of E. Tuning has no bearing on which key you CHOOSE to play in.

  • @fretbuzz520y

You're right, by writing "in D" I meant "in the key of D" but that's still not right since this is in the key of C#

  • @HebinoMetaru I believe what kankoraovich probably meant by "key of E" was that he saw what looked like the guitar playing doing bar chords on the 2nd fret. A (2-2-2)-chord which would be an E5 if you were in drop D. Although, I can't say for sure that's what he meant. I wonder if he tuned down to B then? I haven't actually grabbed my guitar or keyboard to see what key the song is in, but if you say it's C# then that's good enough for me.

  • Ya, this isnt nearly as good as their old stuff, not even close in my opinion, too bad, too bad

  • they changed a LOT.

  • Classic bands shouldn't go modern...

  • It is still LOUDNESS !!!

  • Not my choice as a Single from Racing but still is a good song...

  • good song title - song is ok new sound rotts though

video is boring - it would have been good if they

use samurai footage from a movie-

a good soundtrack to a new samurai movie

  • A different band from that we all loved...

  • a band that i thought could never go downhill went downhill.... too bad

  • bad ass song but i like it

  • CRAZY CRAZY!!! YEAH!!! LOUDNESS!!!

  • watzat language?

  • You mean the vid? It's mostly Japanese language with English from time to time.

  • Suggestion-- get the English double cd version of Racing-- it's actually cheaper (in the States) on cdnow than the Japanese version, all songs are in English, and it comes with RockShocks-- the greatest hits/remix cd. :)

  • why did they turn into mallshit?

  • Mallshit? You mean like Jessica Simpson, James Blunt, Coldplay and Kelly Clarkson? :)

  • EXCELLENT as always, but I'm so used to their hair being like it was in the 80s, it'll be a while before I get used to them this way.

  • Haha, really? I liked the 80's hair too I guess, but Akira's wig kicks it's ass and sends it to space:P

  • Where can I find the original file for this video? I want a copy for my computer, but I can't find it on Limewire-- any suggestions?
