It is not just stuck to FWD there is a huge difference between a powerslide and a drift. But powerslides are a start. You can do it in a FWD but your back tires will turn to squares real quick.

You would have to make entirely new engine mounts for an engine that wouldn't give you any more noticeable power unless you built it. Yup, a power slide. But a pretty damn good one. Main difference is that a power slide isn't maintainable, while a drift is. PS and eventually your rear end is going to lose sideways momentum and regain traction, whereas with a RWD/AWD you can use the throttle to keep the rears from gripping, given enough power.
Oh, and only GSXes are AWD. GS and GS-T are both FWD as well.
Regardless, due to no rear wing and non-body color matching door handles, does look like a base, dog-slow RS.

Almost all FWD/FF cars can induce a drift, but as heterosapien69 here said, you cannot sustain them with most FF cars. If you have a very light car with a proper LSD, a good performing engine, and the perfect tires in combination with good suspension angles, then YES, you can sustain a drift with a FWD/FF car. uh no its not. the swing of the car in a DRIFT is dictated by the power at the rear wheels, and the higher the throttle the less traction they gain. with a fwd, u cant control the rear wheels with the throttle, which undermines the element of drifting.

I put a ford fiesta into a kerb once, back right wheel caught the kerb at 70 - loads of damage to the rear subframe but wasnt too bad concidering, and thats the only accident i've ever had.

Lol, to everyone wondering, its all in the E-BRAKE and about going BALLS to the WALL with NO fear. To be honest, my buddy here would go in too hot sometimes and end up kissing the curb pretty hard or spinning out completely, but the point is that he was never afraid and didn't let that stop him from pushing the limits.

FUCK FUCK FUCK.......FWD CANT DRIFT, ITS CALLED SKIDDING. Drifting aka A RWD sport is when u control your angle / drift from the power of the rear wheels. more power = less traction = more angle....reason why FWD SKIDD is because they pull hand brake which causes them to lose traction and SKIDD with no power control. here is a little challenge forthe people who think they can drift a FWD, get in one and try drifting by kicking the clutch.

well tech it is drifting using the hand brake is a type of drift. yes RWD cars can hold a drift all the way around a curved course when FWD can only hold the drift for a short amount of time. and really as long as the back wheels are locking up and lose traction its a drift. same way for a RWd to lock up the wheels but you are able to give the car power to the back wheels allowing it to last longer

@lxlongxl its a bit harder than just pulling the ebreak. it take the same skill as the ebreak drift in a RWD car only real diff. is you cant power over with a FWD and you was a ton of tread on the rears.

You can set up nearly every car, to oversteer. But the most stock fwd Cars are set up to understeer, because of the safety for the people.
Goging Sideways = Drifting, Powersliding, Sliding... call it what you want
You can control the drift better with rwd.
But it also makes fun to go sideways with a fwd or awd car. That doesn´t really matter, if the car is rwd, fwd or awd - all can make fun.

The only people here with a brain is me and raceguy514. it's kinda drift but not really. power sliding is park braking while already in the turn. drifting would be to get sideways before the turn, thur the turn. well there's alot more to it than that but I'm not in the mood to explain Physics.

uh no its not. the swing of the car in a DRIFT is dictated by the power at the rear wheels, and the higher the throttle the less traction they gain. with a fwd, u cant control the rear wheels with the throttle, which undermines the element of drifting.
drifting = controlled by rear wheels
powerslide =/= controlled by rear wheels.
anyone can powerslide, it takes real skills to drift

i have a hard time saying front wheels can drift its kind of dumb but people who are realy FWD drifting dont hit the corner with there back tires locked they with use it to enter the drift but more with a faint drift with the e-brake transfer the weight on the car and having slick rear tires helps too but
