If you're concerned about the desert touching the snow area, you can always build a mountain range in between. In real life, if mountains are high enough, they can block precipitation to the land on the other side. It would make sense, if you care about it making sense.

you should make a human settlement at the edge of the map but dont make it with human buildings it should be like the ruins of a dwarven city that was invaded by the orcs :) good job btw keep it up you have a bright youtube future :)

It would be a very swampy and strange green/blue bright mushrooms.
