There have been numerous, sometimes crazy, explanations here. In the end, most people chalk it up to two things:

1) Superman and Clark Kent are so drastically different, no one would ever put the two together.

2) Superman does not wear a mask, unlike most heroes, so people just assume that he doesn't have another identity. He is just Superman. .

It has been cited by some critics that the greatest part of the Kal-El character is in fact Clark Kent. Superman is Superman; Kent is his alter ego. For other heroes, the hero is the alterego: Batman is the alterego of Bruce Wayne. Mr Reeve did an outstanding job of portraying this amazing aspect of the character.

There is an iconic pose that Alex did of Superman standing looking straight up at us with his cape blowing to the left. You may wanna use that for the last 4 seconds of the song, instead of him sittin gon the chair. only a suggestion, the video kicks ass already
