The ethanol mandate is an example of government at its worst - special interests co opting government power to line their own pockets - at the expense of others. In this case that's everyone who buys gas or food and especially livestock producers.

This issue illustrates the clear difference between the candidates for Missouri governor. Both Jay Nixon and Kenny Hulshof support the mandates - Sarah Steelman alone vows to end them.

Nixon and Hulshof don't understand the role of government!
