The "conservative" domination of spoken-word radio has nothing to do with anyone's political agenda and everything to do with the fact that the average talk host (not to mention the average manager) wouldn't know an original idea if it kissed them full on the lips.

In other words, what we have is an industry where the hosts (with a handful of exceptions) are ripping each other off...because not a one of them has an original thought.
