u need a wifi connectioon to connect the wii to the internet, which means the price could vary for a wireless router

and the wii web browser costs 500 wii points, while Virtual console games (a.k.a. old nintendo games available for download) costs between 500-1200 wii points

wiiware (a.k.a. new downloadable wii games) costs 500- 1500 wii points

lol What new genre's ? its been awhile since its release n theres nothing new. Shit i thought this System would OWN the RTS genre for consoles n yet there are no RTS games for Wii. Party style games are the Wii's primary genre, n yet alot of its potential is untouched they are not using the Wii to its maximum potential they are just using enough of it to get alot of profit. exploiting the controls in party games to make easy profit, converting old games. There's internal memory, where it automatically saves (or gives you the option). But if you run out of memory or if you want to bring your game file to a friend's house, you can copy the files onto an sd card.

Nintendo Wii: The system that fucks your games up! I've had 3 of these pieces of shit since June and each one scratched my discs. Not HUGE scratches, but a whole bunch of little ones near the edge of the playside of the discs.

I'm very careful with my discs and I don't do anything stupid like moving the console while it's running so it's not my fault.

You should really try using the "D-Skin." Trust me, the disc won't get scratch. It cost like $2.50 and it comes with 5 sheets. I used it all the time for my Wii games and it never had a scratch on it.
