This is cool and all. But you NEED to make a Tr-909 for the itouch, that can ACTUALLY DO THE 909's Functions.

How hard would it be to create an app that allowed up to an adjustable 64 steps? I like 5/4 time signatures, It'd be sweet to program my itouch to do that.

Also... That handy scale function.. i like swung 12/8 rhythms. . .

ALSO ADJUSTABLE DECAY AND TEMPO AND SUCH!!!

@MathRock23 The new A4 and A5 Processors could handle that, with no backgrounded apps of course. Also, they need to include "real" backgrounding, so i can multi task the drum machine AND NLog synth at the same time. Not sure if the Itouch 4 could handle it. Beatmaker 2 it pretty hardcore when it comes to resources, and my itouch handles it perfectly, but i dont know.

its really a nice app.good powerfull sounds. but it really needs a record function so you can actually do something with it.

Thanks for this great application. The 808 was always my favourute drum machine.

A few potential features;

Record Mix/ Save as Mix

Patterns: save them off, then load them in. Currently, you only can keep what you last did.

Remember the BPM setting.

Cut and paste one pattern to another. A handy thing if you want to keep some core beats but add fills as example.

Issues with sliding buttons which switch between instruments (not responding).

In general though, very nicely done!
