Very interesting. I see how our bodies' needs are so individual. I have IBS/Spastic colon and diverticula. I have been a vegetarian for a long time, but still had problems which came partly from eating a low fiber diet (SAD) before that. I was used to the high fiber when I found the Raw Vegan diet. I welcomed the fiber in the smoothies and salads. It lowered the cramping and bloating. You are right, there is a time for each as per our needs. Hard to know for someone else!
