Sorry, photographer here, this is going to be a fairly technical tip for those of you that may have stumbled on it and know the fuck I'm saying.

The trick he's reffering to is known as panning, in a sense, you want to use slower shutter speeds, if you have a dSLR this will be easy to do, but with a point and shoot, to force a slower shutter speed go into a semidark room (not too dark) and use a low ISO speed, then just do like this guy is saying, and don't use flash.

Just a thought, a spinning chair would work better, because then you wouldn't get blur from moving your feet, you could start spinning the chair and take some photos. Same effect, sharper you.

Or... you could learn the simple art of photography. Just set you aputure (it'll be the A on your dial) to really low, something like F4, then put your camera on a ledge or tri-pod. Then you'll be in focus and the backround will be out of focus. It wont look lame like his idea will...

Or, for something even cooler, go out at night with no light and set the shutter speed to 15 seconds (it'll be S on the dial) and sit still infront of the shot, it'll look like a kind of night/day light.
