Thank you for posting this, blockster911. I was actually deployed with SFC Howard in 06 as part of her reconstruction team in Afghanistan. I found your video quite by accident. I just joined the PGR myself in my home state and was searching to see if the PGR had attended her funeral. This video was exactly the encouragement I was looking for. Thank you again on behalf of PRT Mehtar Lam, and I'm sure on behalf of her. She was one of the best soldiers I've ever had the privilege of serving with.

Thank you for posting this. I am also a new PGR member in Washington State. I attended my first mission 9/22/09 and as you said, it is just an amazing honor to be a part of this group.

I've been a memebr for almost four years. I go to every mission I can get to but I have to say, I'm pleased at the fact, I've never had to experience protestors at any of the missions I've been to. I have heard they tried a few times but local residents kind of put a stop to that by showing up with shotguns int heir trucks. Needless to say, the protestors ran scared. Keep up the great work in your area.

If these mothers had an OUNCE of natural affection for their own child they would never have allowed their child to enlist as a human sacrifice.Not a WHIT different than the islamic hag strapping a bomb on her kid.

thanks so much for posting this video. Like many of the Patriot Guard, I'm also a veteran, and have lost friends to combat. Nothing pulls on the heartstrings like a military funeral. I'm preparing for my first ride tomorrow, and your video definitely helped put my mind where it needs to be. Thank you again, and ride safe!

Nice job Blockster. I am a PGR member also, and just returned from a mission. I am a Vietnam vet, and joined to insure that today's soldiers are treated with the respect my generation didn't get.

I've been looking for an update on this, since first getting the bulletin from VK and then watching Jenny's video. I'm very happy to hear that there were no protests, and I'm also glad to know that such an organization as the Patriot Guard Riders exist. Thanks, Don.

I would like to clarify that Merideth died in September, and was given a funeral service at that time. This ceremony was the smaller, lower profile ash scattering service.
