how do you unlock "The Rock" on Rush 2049? N64 or Dreamcast

You can't. That track's not in the home versions of 2049. It's only in arcade version.

Well yeah, there's music titled "The Rock", but that's used for the Presidio race track on the DC. And I thought he's talking about the Alcatraz race track that was also in Rush 1 & 2 on N64 and arcade 2049.

This is one of the greatest games in the history of video entertainment. It has won awards, been remade of several consuls from its arcade version, and has been praised by millions of catridge era gamers. Thus far no racing game has ever come close to the concept and grace of Rush2049.

i have to agree with you this is when racing games where fun to play.

This was my fave racing game growing up.

I love racing games but none have been this fun( Paradise is my current fave does do some stuff thats really fun like this game , like going really fast and doing stunts and finding secrets, but none will ever come close as this game.) Well not as of yet , hopeful and waiting.

It's mainly just the graphics that are much better.

Other than that, you can save ghosts to memory card and play the Race tracks with 4 players simultaneously. (N64 only does Stunt and Battle w/4 players.)

And that's all.

nice. im currently workin on some of my own rush 2049 video projects, and some already exist in my account, so be sure to check them out. obviously alot of my video stuff is obvious to u cause uve probably finished the game, and i have been working on the game for awhile, i even had to replace a memory pak after all my data was lost :(. but now im just as far, eccept i havent unlocked the engine that sounds really lo pitched.

on the n64, there are red and green switches to open shortcuts-where is the one switch that opens the narrow jump over water to the slanted green thing (1:05)?

It's in Ghost Race mode. The shortcuts are always open and switches removed in this mode (on the N64 too). Also moving objects are stopped; the boat (2:31-2:33) is just sitting there (on the N64 though, the boat is gone in Ghost mode).
