I'm running the NewVision2.8 Hero Rom on my G1 with an 8gb class 6 sd card, and I swear, my phone is the best thing on earth right now. Not nearly as much lag as with the jachero roms. I have damn near no lag at all. I have been having a hard time putting my phone down since I put this on!

Where did you get your ROM??? I have the Palm Pre ROM now and I'm lookin for a SUPER FAST Hero ROM to replace it lol

i have the new 2.3.4 rom it just came out today

its very quick and fluid

yea its great I didnt switch over yet because Im running my swap through an extra partition linux-swap to avoid mounting problems, im thinking that justanothercrowd might have added support for this in 2.3.4 but not reason to switch yet

keyboard works in landscape mode though rosie (HTC HERO UI) does not function nor is it setup for landscape mode so this landscape keyboard only functions within applications not on for example the search widget on ur home screen

also btw if you want to play a flash game, afer watchin the reviews for the official htc hero and trying it when u play a game, double tap the game screen n it takes off the website and leaves u playing the game just like a real game and its pretty effin fast
