The Metalcore Riff and bases has completely different from metal. The lamb of god are close to the metal close to hardcore but have too many tunings that make the band metalcore. It's stupid to think that something like the metal is not destroyed by modernism that the twisting turning it into so much else, certainly not metal.

(They are not much bond with English, use a translator, if there are errors, is not guilt mine.)

They are groove metal. Their rhythmic patterns define them as groove metal (frequent use of triplets in drums/guitar as spacefillers, inconsistent tempo, etc...)

I admit, some of their riffs sound like Metalcore. But Lamb of God is definitely not metalcore.
