  • True. The 400A line is very short, because 3 reasons. 1: It's Expensive. 2:They break down ALL the time & 3: It's a Shindler..........

  • Yes, even the more expensive stuff isn't built to last and are high maintenance.

  • Cool Elevator.

  • Indeed, and I think there should be more Schindler 400A elevators out there.

  • Yes, it does, and it sounds more confusing than using B1 for upper basement, along with B2 for lower basement.

  • Does SB Stand For Sub-Basement?

  • Yes, I like the high speed elevators, along with the unique voice announcement system, and I think all Schindler elevators should display the floor when it actually passes by it.

  • FAST!!! and it talks!! also the floor number is actually accurate! The last schindler i rode, the floor changes the second that the hydraulic pump started and before the cab itself moves!!

  • Wow, that's interesting how they use different voices on the 400A & 500A elevators. The slamming sound might have been someone unloading something from the other elevator, and the voice sounds a bit like the Otis Gen2 voice system.

  • Strange voice.

  • It's the normal Schindler 400A voice. The 500A is a male voice.

  • Very nice and fast elevators, although the elevators are quite noisy. What was that slamming sound near the end?

  • Thanks.

  • new elevator,and fast

  • Nice Schindler 400A elevators there.

  • Thank you so much, and I do like the Schindler traction elevators a lot better, since they have the synchronized floor signals.

  • Another Schindler 400A with the beep and the floor change indicator synchronized. Nice for a parking garage. Well-executed video!

  • Yes, the floor bells are typical Schindler HT, but in the Austin area, 400A elevators are rather rare. Hopefully, more will come soon, along with Otis Gen2, ThyssenKrupp Synergy, and Kone MonoSpace. I'm tired of hydraulics indeed.

  • Schindler 400A's seem to increase in numbers.

  • Because of its benefit to everything.

  • Yes, such as energy efficiency, low maintenance, high reliability, and environmental friendliness.

  • strange floor bell
