  • This film is so exquisite. How simply and subtly Dudley's powers are shown here, with the summoning hand of an angel disguised as ordinary choral cues. No magical special effects, other than Gregg Toland's remarkable lighting of Cary Grant's face so that it is luminous, irresistible and angelic.
