  • He looks exactly like my Romeo! :D

  • a good video

  • Cool! You got the song from meteor garden

  • it's very cute...

  • WATCH OUT THO, if you have other females, during and after breeding they will sabotage the nest

  • nice video please watch my video on my channel Guppy Explosion At Pet Shop

  • Excuse me, how long are your adult bettas ?

  • @tuanviet101088 I guess about 8 cm

  • @Reiseumdiewelt Wooowww. so cool ...

  • @Reiseumdiewelt i thought was like 6 cm

  • Unfortunately youtube is inundated by moronic videos of bettas getting killed and eaten by other fish. One stupid ass put a betta inside a tank with a foot long oscar. It was eaten of course. Bettas fight each other but they are not good fighters in the general sense and against cicilids who are larger there is no contest.

  • i still remember when i was a child and my fighting fish win against a bigger fighting fish i was so proud of that but unfortunately he died

  • Sorry i have to say this but the soundtrack is REALLY REALLY GAAY!

  • I hade a splenden female betta but she died yesterday now I have a half-moon female I miss my old one :'(

  • those fish are dead long time ago -_-

  • wouldnt you stop them???

  • i love my crimson betta

  • cool they are soo cute and when they r mating its like hugging each other xD

  • EMERGENCY!!! My friend's female betta fish won't eat!!! What should she do??? It keeps floating head-up in the corner of the tank!!!

  • I have a friend who has betta fish and she asked me to ask you if her female will die if it has too many eggs. Also she needs to know if the female will die if her male and her female mate.

  • @MegaBlueKitten When a female has too many eggs and can not spawn, it's dangerous for her. Normally there is no reason for her to die after spawning. But give her a safe place to hide, because the male may be too aggressive in defending the brood! Greetings to your friend!

  • @Reiseumdiewelt I told this to my friend and she says thank you for this info. She also asked how dangerous, would the female die?

  • NICE VIDEO AND GREAT PAIR ,CONGRATS

  • My female will not pay attention to my male betta he is going up to the jar and flaring but she just trys to get away.... Can anyone help me or tell me if she is just not ready to spawn? Or should i try a different female or something? HELP.

  • I have a question. Do you need a license to breed bettas? Because I am thinking about breeding my wittle betta pairs.

  • @babyroo123 No, it is not necessary!

  • @babyroo123 I don´t think that you need a licence to breed. From wehre you are? I´m from germany and we don´t need a licence to breed bettas.

  • this nice lady is giving me a 10 gallon tank!for free!i helped her around the house cleaning it.mopping, dusting, washing, and organize.

  • since when did fish have wives? haha..

  • Can you imagine if they didn't fight, and tight- shoaled? Pity you can only keep one male in the tank.

  • i have three siamese fighting fish 2 males one female i luv them so much the red betta looks like my red betta called neebles yer i know weird name he is so feisty and then my other male he is blue and he will never flare at anything ;] poor male he cant mate she stronger :[

  • anyone know the bgrnd music?

It's a Chinese song

  • Nice ! And so Cute !

  • u know that the bettas would be much safer if u do the ususal setup and garud her casue they're sparring and not mating. the males fins wouldn't be like that if u followed the other process. just saying.

  • I wanna see the babies!

  • @SchnuckiHH Auf jeden Fall.

  • Gr8 capture.

I have 2 female and 1 male betta.

Last night, he made a bubble nest.

Today all day, he chased the 2 females but the females run away all the time.

    Bubbles disappeared in the meantime..

I don't know why he could not persuade the females :)

In additionally, I have 2 female and 1 male guppies. 2 fry from them, but not yet from the bettas...

    What do you suggest???

    THANKS!

  • i tink d male ate d eggs~

  • Thanks for posting! My bettas are mating right now :)

  • aww ur websites in german sorry cant read it but you have perfect betta fish and make god videos :D

  • how did u condition it

  • do u no which fish can be kept with betta?

    r u german?

    im german

  • @TheWorldofPets Ja! Die andere Antwort hast Du schon! Weiter viel Freude mit den Bettas!

  • @TheWorldofPets you can easily find this answer online even easy as wikipedia betta splenden search on wiki will answer,, i cant remember names from my books at present only thing i remember off hand is absolutely no gouramis or other fish that is related or too similar to bettas, and no fish with bright colors or bright finnage,,,also must check with expert be sure new introduced betta mates are not known species of fin nippers cause bettas are so elaborate any nip species will chew your betta

  • Its not everyday you see a female acually fighting back at a male. Stunning video :D

  • 3:47 amazing!!!!!

  • can anybody help me?? why my female betta keep on attacking my male until it nearly die??

  • @98violet simple, ur male is a weakling lols

  • @98violet male must be stronger than female.

  • @98violet so i would advise u to keep som tings like caves ou some hiding places fr it so it will hide and the other cannot attack

  • It's another male of betta. You have two male

  • @Pomodora93xD Oh yes, I have more than one betta male. But in this case: It is the same red Betta male!

  • @Reiseumdiewelt she has eggs.

  • Horny little fish

  • do the betta fish fight till death?

  • @baystatusclan yes, when they are kept in small aquariums; regularily no, when they live in freewaters

  • are bettas native to any waters ike lakes or sumthing or just bread?

  • @minigunguy77 Wild Betta splendens live in Thailand in thickly overgrown ponds and in onlyvery slowly flowing waters.

  • I have a betta named Mc Cloud Durington. just "Cloud" for short.

  • how many times do the mate a daymy guess is 10 times a day!

  • erm can ask what breed was the female she looks 1half times bigger that the male in body size

  • the music is so arousing

  • wow cool

  • it is completetely normal, but make sure you take her out when they're done, otherwise she might eat the eggs or the male will kill her, sometimes she helps but it's better to avoid any incident

  • it is normal the male fight the female in first ?

my male betta make a bubble nest but he fight my female betta ..

it is normal in first ?

  • Sometimes it happens. But in this intensity it is not usual

  • @soumeii00 ii thought that when they breed the male will chase the female for hours intill the female is tired the he mates with her this may be the case:)

  • I did put my crowntailfemale with my crowntail male she totalllly bite his finnnsn of :S and she killed 2 other females!!! ANIMAL !!! she is white and blue

  • hen aint ready.

  • rare to see female betta's fight against male

  • LONG TAIL BETTA ARE PUSSY

  • Nice music, i heard it from a taiwanese soap opera titled "meteor garden" lol. That CT male has really nice fins, nice rays. Like that you pronounced "Betta" correctly too. It was funny when the female was chasing him, nice commentary lol.

  • beautiful and fascinating

  • the female looks like its dying in a way

  • R.I.P Marley my beloved betta

  • @will0nater =-( i can feel the pain

  • :( I dread the day my beloved Diva dies.

  • i have a betta and is very cute :)

  • @anuuuuka hahah my sister bettas she got from here old work are beasts thaey jump and try to bite food from my fingers and then i feed them. this one my mom got from walmart is little and scared though haha

  • @graffwriter17 well, i have this really hyper one and it does the same. she tries to chomp off my finger.

  • Klasse Video und schöne Fische!

  • bellissimo complimenti

  • I had 3 crowntails before .. One of them jumped out of water :/ Were not home at that moment. Now I have 1 red crowntail like yours but more depth in the colour and 1 blue, red, white and purple mixed and the last one a veiltail male. I have 3 crowntail females and 1 veiltail female. I am going to breed Bettas for the first time :-) . . . Any suggestion?

  • @Nasser90santour keep a tank with a plastic container with the female in the container and the male will be in the tank so they can see one another and fight as well without hurting one another.......when u see black horizontal stripes not diagonal but horizonal it means that the female is ready to mate .....

  • oh no i was wondering if there was an easier way to feed the fry.. I'm assuming bread is bad for them and you must give them live food.. this guy on youtube said that you can boil egg and take the yolk and feed them with that..

  • sorry too bombard you with alot questions.. but like I'm so thrilled to breed betta's. when do you intend to release the female? when she is big or u jus like let her go like in the wild. My other female died of swallowen bladder infection she was so big she started to float and started to panic, to a point she died.. What do you feed the fry with? any easier way like.. small chunk of bread?

  • Best way is to catch the female after spawning and give her a seperate tank. - You try to feed the fry with bread?? I give them hatched Nauplii of Brine Shrimp (Artemia).

  • how long did you wait for them to start releasing their eggs? and is it natural for a male chasing the female.. while the female is just floating around in a corner?

  • When I put them together the last time only a few hours.- In the freewater the female keeps more distance from the male - in an aquarium is often not enough space for her to hold distance.

  • i love dis video and beatiful betta

  • nice

  • how is it considered mating and not fighting????! omg i have no idea!

  • I believe it is very importend, that the male is really stronger than she.

  • er oni male fights male

  • wat type is the female??

  • It´s a red veiltail-female. In this breeding strain of Betta splendens only the males show a veil.

  • nice pair :)

  • The wife is always just floating around like it's thinking " That was great !"

  • i know that it helps but how does curling around each other help push the eggs out

  • thats how they come out the best

  • mommie doesn't like daddie's bubblenest lol jks my hmpks are freaken hecka aggressive

  • there were like 20 eggs

  • haha dayum dude like 456893864598 eggs popped out at once lol

  • the eggs come out that fast!

  • i never thought the females can be that agessive.

  • now with the help of your video and narative...it explains a lot...
