@TyZCN90 naomi is from sega , and probably the best arcady type arcade u can get capcom vs sink/ virtua tennis 2 are good examples of this awsome arcade, and leaves other neogeo/nebula etc.... for dead!! :)

hey i have a noob qeston, i was running the same game and emulator menus are fast and everything till the round starts and everything is soooo slow and slugish. you have any tip on speeding this up? iv tried all the plug-ins. i dont see why i can run better up to date games and i cant run this.

I just use MAME and the uncompressed AVI capture. It records stuff at full speed, and renders everything without screencap software. I suggest you use it. Only problem is that the files are huge. Also, MAME aims for accuracy over preformance, so you'll probably end up losing patience before you're done with the menus. Also, I think the graphics are less glitchy in MAME (but the shadows are really messed up).

for the record i have been trying to get the dreamcast, ps2, and saturn emulators to work. if it is one thing i know it is that the people that get these to work are NOT GOING TO TELL ANYONE!!!

@sillywamosir I can if you're still interested. There are three types of bios that you can use for NullDC or really whatever emulator you choose to use. USA - Japan - Export. I suggest you get the Japan one since that one seems to play any game you throw at it, where as the other ones complain if you throw a japan version at it.

Naomi emulation pays off as quite a few games didn't make it to the DC. Slashout, Virtua NBA and also games like GGXX which went to Ps2 instead. I mostly prefer arcade versions. They are the real deal. Some console ports get tampered with (such as SF3 on DC).

Still own a Neogeo AES. Looking into collecting Naomi too.

@XKrateX360 No, basically, the difference is what system it's made to emulate. Naomi emulates the Naomi arcade cabinet, which has eluded everyone for a long time, and standard nullDC emulates the dreamcast.

@XKrateX360 They don't! That's my point! Naomi isn't a different version of the emulator, it's a different one entirely! As in it doesn't play the same games. Naomi plays Naomi arcade games, and the dreamcast one plays DreamCast games. Two whole separate groups and libraries of games.

@XKrateX360 Well, if that's what you you meant, then ask what version of the games is better. Basically, it all comes down to what you're looking for. The Naomi emulator is very difficult to get running full speed, but you get arcade perfect if you do. I personally prefer the Dreamcast versions though, as they are fuller games, with unlocks and such, and the emulator is much easier on the old PC.

@XKrateX360 If you're talking about the Dreamcast emulator, just play with the plugins is all I have to say. I picked an audio plugin that kind of messes with the audio, but lets it run much faster. I think its Elsemi's AICA or something. And then just mess with video settings in the PowerVR section of the options.

Man, after playing part 2 so much, I forgot how much better the music and stuff of this one was. Also, the excitement of the fact that this was the first console game in which we see Street Fighter and King of Fighters characters going at it makes it all the more awesome.

The presentation and announcer is the main reason I prefer this game to the sequel. ROUND ONE.....FIGHT!!!! That is easily the coolest announcer in any fighting game!

I quit on DC emulation. Those 2 emus were horrible. Glitches every now and then.
