  • ahh yeah, the 79th Street and US Highway 1 El. Pretty cool, huh?

  • Last time I rode Metrorail was about 5 years ago that I went to Downtown Miami... I remember sitting down and I started to smell a gas-like odor in the cart I was in... When I got off, I alerted the driver of which he smelled it but did nothing about it... Therefore, if they can care less about my safety, I can care less about them. I HATE MDT AND I HOPE THEY DEFUND IT COMPLETELY BECAUSE I AM TIRED OF MY TAXPAYER MONEY GOING TO YOU!!!! Good riddance MDT! They should sell it to a private company!

  • contact .railvolution, com they build high tect citys and green citys along any rail hubs creating jobs makeing exciteing future that would help the miami metro tel them to contact rail vo lution

  • Could it be much better if the county builds a route to the Beaches @ least. It's useless to drive to take the train, and don't even mention buses; they're unreliable... I don't see any money savings in spite of all the county ads

  • Also remember that Miami is still a young city compared to a lot of other cities, especially ones that have heavy rail systems as well. Miami is still under a lot of construction.

  • This really helped Metro Rail out, after the Down town Miami area stations, Dadeland North and Dadeland south have the highest ridership. Go there during rush hour and the train is standing room only. Daily ridership is at 67,000 even though it really is not very expansive.

  • Metrorail sucks! it does not run along 386 or to the MIA it does not go west to east so people in the suburbs could go to the city.

    Big waste of money

  • @nocollege1 they are making a station at the MIA look on wikipedia it's called miami central station

  • The Miami officials should look at how successfull dadeland has become due to the metrorail and finally expand it to the much needed areas.

  • They are doing that, take a look at Wikipedia.

  • wow, back then nobody rode on the trains, today, I wish you could all see how much that has changed, ppl are beggining to use trains and buses again!
