If you put those fireballs into perspective they're huge. Looking at a video of it makes them seem not so big. The South Tower fireball was about thirty storeys high!!

I almost died that day. i lived in new york and my mom worked there and she was going to take me to work with her. we got caught in traffic. and thank god we didnt make it to the builings

he was saying it didn't go all the way through, and that it just clipped the edge of the building. it did hit more off-center than the first plane, but it went all the way through.

Had the camera stayed zoomed in and focused on the second tower, he would have been able to tell that it was not a missile but an airplane. To the naked eye an airplane going that fast looks like a missile.

Having served two tours of duty, I've seen my share of missiles and airplanes going MUCH faster than that and they don't look remotely similar to the naked eye.

It is understandable why the person in the video assumed it was some sort of missle,, because nobody, nobody would have known that passager planes would be used as a suicide weapon. 9/11 marked the first time in aviation history that a passager plane was used as a weapon.

The cameraman is about 3 miles from the opposite side of the 2nd tower. So, he couldn't really tell if it was a plane.
