Hey, not every hurricane swell is the same. It depends on many variables. Not every 'cane swell is ten foot. What's wrong with y'all ? Even if a storm pushes far north and it's two foot...it's still a 'cane swell. Hurricanes are over - hyped anyways unless you get to Eastern Long Island or Rhode Island.....Beach breaks tend to get overpowered.....especially if the system is fairly close. But then again sometimes it's perfect....as I said not every 'cane swell is the same. I love you all.
