The Smiths opened with this song when I saw them play in 1985 and it was so gorgeous the way as the last note of You'll Walk Alone played, the drummer started in with the Queen is Dead and suddenly we saw Morrisey, who'd been hanging around in the audience, jump onto the stage from the front row. It was jaw dropping and magical. It was in New Orleans.
