if ur deciding to gobecome an MP, I woULD RECOMMENED thinking it over, i am a MP in the marine corps and u have to work holidays and every other weekends, u never get a 96(which is 4 days off , givin for holidays and special occ. ) and if u are in okinawa like myself u have to work durring typhoons and drive hmwvee while every one is in there room. bieng a MP is different and ppl will dislike u but remember with out there will be alot of shyt goin on.

@coldgrudge well you got unlucky and are PMO :P a Garrison MP...if you got field side MP you wouldnt be dealing with that...dont tell people to think over a job because you got unlucky :) was a field side MP/k9 handler for 5 years...had a blast and miss the shit out of it. Garrison MPs are the hated ones and they are in the process of being phased out anyway...so no more Marines watching gates and doing onbase bullcrap..that will be left to civilian police officers
