i play guitar in worship band, and for so long i have been talking with my pastor/worship leader about how there aren't too many amazing christian bands, unfortunately causing me to not listen to christian music very often. it's good to know people like michael gungor are out there.
We did this song today at church with men vocals... these weren't singers just men... three of us read the first three verses and softly sang the choruses... we doubled up some humming parts for a bassy addition... it was so powerful! Gungor is doing some great things here! :)

Not only are these guys great, but the Underoath poster in the upper left corner makes this even better :) in all seriousness though, these guys are beautiful
wish they sounded like this on the album. too much studio influence. they are so good live. but they lose so much when the raspy sound of his voice is taken away.

Matthew 5:45b He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. People argue God is not a loving God but He is and He died for everyone but not everyone will accept Him and receives salvation though. Before you choose to love God, He chose to love you. How do I know that? The answer is Jeremiah 1:5.

@Graiskye I discovered Michael Gungor Band (Now just called Gungor), several years ago with their Battle Cry album. I encourage you to check it out. There's some really great stuff there. Kinda old school now I guess. Check out their new song Beautiful Things, too. It's very good. It's also the name of their latest album.
What is truly amazing, is that he could have gone for more popularity and fame, because without a doubt, he has amazing skill, but he is so humbled, he chooses to glorify God's name. Amazing. I would love to hear them live. Keep it up :)
