  • ive been watching live in london and listening to the new album all day :)....great band, love them, gonna be seeing them in september...CANT FUCKING WAIT!!

  • Earth Day 1990.

  • That is a valid question: Did they practice what they(Testament) preach or were they part of a environmental pro-green earth band wagon hoppers?

As I said before in a earlier comment, this song was the theme of a local Green Day 1990 theme,I had hoped TESTAMENT was up to their word-RESPECT MOTHER EARTH.

  • I love this song though I found it always interesting that they release this song and then the next album, their first song is Souls of Black with them burning tires and other stuff, lol

Again, not knocking the song itself, but I always questioned whether they actually believed in this song or they were just aboard the metal enviro bandwagon that existed in the early 90s

  • The 80's had great political metal, but these days...

  • I know it's really sad

  • I was 2nd year high school when i heard this band...it was the return to apocalypse album...evrytime we open our store it was thier songs who made my day electrifying..by the way that was my first and the last album...i could hardly found testament album in our country..it was my brother who brought that cassette tape from Saudi Arabia..thanks for the internet.....YOU ROCK

  • awesome shit ya headbangers ball very hard to find stuff great job man

  • Awesome. I remember watching parts of this video in one of the appearences that the band made in one of those old Hard-N-Heavy VHS videos. In this particular segment, the band talks about some incident about getting thown out of some venue and than getting tatoos. Anyway, I keep seeing parts of this video and never saw it in its entirety. It's not even in the Seen Between The Lines VHS. Thanks for posting it. Hail Testament.

  • kick ass song but my favorote is the trial by fire.

  • the bass sounds fuckin' great

  • I agree! Testament was one of the few metal bands that you could actually hear the skills of the bass player shine through in the music. Chuck Billy had killer vocals as well!

  • Geil^^

  • When I first heard this song I headbanged the whole song and got mother fucking WHIPLASH!

  • LOL! Moms caught me whipping my hair against the wall, I had no clue she was in the house taking a nap when I popped in the HBBall VHS tape after school and turned the 15" cerwin vegas up to 11 :/

  • haha nice bro

  • Awesome guitar-work, and a prophetic environmental lyric.

  • Hell yeah, this whole album is awsome. This and New Order are my favorites. Eric is a great Rythem player, and of course Alex is awsome.

  • i love this bass sound

  • FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLS

NOW WOULD YOU BELIEVE THIS IS THE AIR WE BREATHE

They should re-release this song NOW & CASH in ... ahead of their time... no-one listened, they all thought I was insane listening to this 15 years ago at School ... Can't believe I found it at a click of a button ...

  • No doubt, they all thought I was a christian. This track was my ultimate sk8r fuel!

  • if anyone has a tab to this plz msg me

  • they have a cool bass line

  • Broadcasted in the first Earth Day 1990. Since then, how many of us practiced what we radicals what we preach about conserving energy? I certainly had to play this song if I neglect at times. ;)

  • Testament: Respect Your Mother! Mother Earth! That is.

  • Yeah Eric plays Gibson now to think from Practice What You Preach to now he's been playing them. This song rules.

  • he's mostly a dean player now with the v's and cadillac's

  • great vid! one of my favorite songs, never saw it on mtv back in the day! Only trial by fire and nobody's fault.

  • cool, i didn't know eric used to play gibson explorer guitars.

and i didn't know that there's a vid to it!

  • Yeah same. i can't remember where i found it though!

  • What? I didn't even know their was a video for this song. Easily one of my favorite songs.

  • great album. excellent band.
