  • A 500 is alot of carb, unless you have alot of flow. I have a Esslinger SVO head ported and polished with a .655 lift cam and a 500 did well. I'm now running a C&S 390 Holley, probably flows 500 but is a 4bbl.

  • What size carb you running, what engine mods? Are you running a stock vacuum advance ignition?

  • 500 cfm holley with 73 jets and its a centrifical advance system all msd 6AL

  • i would suggest fuel injection..

  • Yeah kinda outta the question for fuel injection the last thing i need is more wires in this thing... Also carbs dont have limits when it comes to fuel as long as you have the right system, meanwhile fuel injection the computer can only go so far and is really expensive to modify... only con about a carb is that it doesnt take air temp into consideration with the changing seasons, so tunning is needed all the time. but I plan on making this a summer car anyhow.. thanks for the suggestion tho...

  • Wow, a carb'd turbo-4. Interesting... Thanks for uploading.

  • Im happy you did it, i hope to have mine back on the road in December and ill have a camera so ill be able to make some real vids. im keeping and eye on your channel for more vids :-D. I dont know much about carb tuning but i know thats going to be your toughest part, geting that carb to behave but you can do it!

  • thanks nifty going a little bit different route than you with the carb instead of efi... but you persuaded me with the turbo.... N/A was just too boring....haha love your vids too
