haha to tell ya the truth clau, my HS orchestra has 3 to 7 basses and a mass of violin, that are split into 1st, and 2nd. About 8 to 10 Violas. 8 to 10 Cellos. We are pretty good size, when you see us set-up we look pretty average. When we play thats a different story, we sound 10 times bigger than we truly are with tone, intination, and overall quality.
cello needs to be more in tune, with more vibrato.
(come on, its only 8 notes.); you lead the group, and you play pretty out of tune there.
1st violin - keep the beat.
2nd violin - work on your pitch.
3rd violin - come out more.
everyone needs to be much more expressive, and work on their tone. anyone can just play notes, but it takes real musicians to make music through dynamics, expression, and technique.
Why is it that whenever someone like gnefnitsuj critiques a person/group's performance, they get bad ratings on their comments? Ugh, it's probably the same people that say "AMAZING, BEST VERSION" every time they watch a new performance (the same ones that know next to nothing about music most of the time). In any case, thumbs up, I fully agree with you here.
you know... i think that people who know nothing about music are having fun everytime they hear some performences. people like, i think, us, who know 'something' about music are just looking for mistakes... i think that they just need more work, but you can see that they are not pros, and you shouldn't call for a pros performance. i think they did a great job performing, even if i heard lots of mistakes and untune instrument...
yeah... I'm the same... but we also can hear more... We know what the good music is, we understand music we are listening to... It has same good sides, you know? :D

Sometimes i hate 'understanding' music. I just wish i wouldn't always look for mistakes.

I know a lot about music, and I agree with the others. I naturally listen for mistakes, but I wish I could just sit back and enjoy the music.
