By the logic you are using you might as well say that God should have given you the Quran personally in a Book. The Quran was revealed in words intially in One language, but it does not mean it is only for those people. The Quran many times refers to 'mankind' when addressing the reader/listener. The Quran can be difficult to understand this may have led to you being underwelmed, I would suggest asking someone who really knows about the Quran to explain it to you and then make a proper decision.

There are various books and novels written all the time that people don't like or don't agree with and yet they are routinely published without incident or at least with minimal protest.
Why is it always so different with anything to do with Islam?
Publishers and writers have to worry about violence and threats and death, in some cases.
