nothing taken away from royce..but in mma he is very one demensional...just bjj...back in the days he dominated bcuz no one understand the ground game..but now a days bjj alone does not work...thats why he doesnt compete much now..if he still compete.....
It is simple, they did not know exactly the bjj and grappling stuff..!!!!! Everybody before this UFC fights, believe that a fight should only finish via kicks and punches..!!!
if you're in a chokehold or other type of submission,
you can use your hands/legs to push off, and sometimes get out of the submission, some matches ended because the ref thought a guy was tapping out, but in fact he was pushing himself upward to try and get out of the chokehold,,, he just hit the mat quite hard with his hand :P
this was also in 1993 when after the first submission in ufc ever they all looked around and didnt know wat to do after the guy tapped, people didnt even know how to tap properly yet so that was an issue that they've solved recently
@aeagle1218 How could this be in 1993 when the end of the video has the titles he won from UFC1 in 1993 and UFC2 & UFC4 in 1994? The music playing at the end is also Westside Connection - Gangsta Nation. This episode of Sportzah! aired may 14th 2004.
whichever one is easier for you. I think that in Portuguese the R in the beginning of a word is an H, in Spanish the R in the beginning of a word is a rolling R that starts with an H sound then goes to a rolling tongue.
