@fingrid Well... according to wiki J-rock and J-pop are genres. I do not know if you like wikipedia or not, but I am sure there are many other sources that also say that it is a genre. (Note: also true for kpop).

If in your opinion it is not a genre, I would say that this music would be something else other than techno.
