  • This is sooooo sad, it made me cry a little bit. I have a diamond dove that looks exactly like this one, and I love her to death. I know I'll be absolutely devastated when anything happens to her.

    Why did she die?

  • @sprinter136 Thank you so much for your so sweet comment. I really appreciate it! You sound like a very nice person with a great and compassionate heart. I bet your diamond dove must be very happy living with you. I have told my dear friend CK, the adoptive father of Bunny about your lovely comment. He's really touched too and will be replying to you soon to let you know how Bunny passed away. Thanks for having such a good heart, sprinter136. Please, give my love to your birdie :)

  • @zahnyx Yes, I have a big heart toward animals (especially birds), and always try to help them if I see them in trouble. Seeing them hurt/die is always very saddening.

I know my diamond dove is happy here. She's very comfortable with all of us, and she's even tamer than my ringneck doves, even though she was as timid as a finch when we got her.

  • @sprinter136 Hi, we're Bunny's mom & dad. Poor Bunny fell in a narrow gap behind a cabinet one night, and we didn't find her until a few hours later the next morning. We didn't realise it at the time, but she was in a state of shock, and didn't eat all day. That evening, we held her close, but it was too late, and she died in our hands. We were devastated but she will remain in our hearts. You can see videos of her on our channel.

Thank you for your lovely comment.

  • @cielitolindo2008 Awww, that's so sad :(. My gouldian finch fell in the closet last year, and was lost for almost 24 hours. When we found him, we were worried that he would die from stress, but he recovered quickly once he got some food and water. After hearing other stories of trapped birds that ended in tragedy, I think we were pretty lucky.

We keep the closet closed now, though, so it won't happen again.

  • @sprinter136 That's a good idea, don't take any chances. Birds are so delicate as we've found out the tragic way.

  • That is beautiful,, It really touched me,, My parakeet died last month and I miss him,, I loved what you wrote about the Angels! You did such a lovely job! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you so much, NaturesFairy and I'm really, really sorry about your parakeet's death. It's really hard to see a loved one go. I had a pigeon that I loved more than my own life. It has been many years since she passed away, but I still miss her. Thanks for having so much love in your heart, NaturesFairy. Please, never change and God bless you :)

She will live forever in our hearts and memory; gone but not forgotten.

  • You are most welcome, Pequinito and Pequinita, and I thank you too, for your unconditional love not only for your own pets but for all innocent animals in the world. God bless you! Kisses :)

  • What a sweet tribute but then that's just a reflection of who you are.

  • Thank you so much for those words, dear Jack. Even though I never met Bunny in person, I loved her very much and felt her like a relative, since her adoptive parents are our dear friends Pequinito and Pequinita. XOXO
