with paintball, you get whats basically a tube with a hopper and gas feed. with airsoft, you get replica weapons that look almost or exactly like the real thing. plus, with airsoft, you can actually aim cos you aint got a hopper, even the replica paintball guns have gas feed and a fuck ugly hopper

@danjr90 most paintball guns have an offset hopper or a sidemount like my A5 does and it looks exactly like an mp5k from the factory until you change it and make it look like whatever other "real" gun you want. Airsoft is not the only game that has guns that look real. We just have larger barrels.

I'm impressed. :D The only things that stood out to me the most when watching at a glance were the tight cluster when coming out of the pass and the long rushes. Great vid!

MyCoolAimName1- The sad part is, You can't snipe in paintball unless you got a tippman with a flatline. Even then good luck tagging people. I remeber my glory days when my 3 man team went against 5 guillie suited woodsballers and out front man took them all out. They all left angry as hell. Good times good times.

do the expensive airsoft guns make a big difference? the cheap can tire ones i have shot only go like 30 40 feet tops ten they curve. do they actually have rifles that can reach out and tag someone? and airsoft still needs to find a way to confirm hits imo

In order to stop the curving, get .2 gram bb's rather than.12g. they shoot farther and better. Also they are better for the gun. hope that helps.

They play in areas where local residents and counties don't get pissed off at them. I swear, they give paintball players so much more freedom than airsofters because airsoft looks too real. Understandable, but redundant. It's a sport for crying out load.

I guess it's because we've got idiots who use airsoft for all the wrong reasons. If they'd clean up their act (or we just got rid of them), airsoft would probably be more widely accepted.

it depends on the make... most of the l96's out there are good. i would suggest a warrior l96 because from what you have just said im guessing you're reletivly new to airsoft and they're cheap but still pretty decent guns. or a JG BAR-10. if you can find one.

if your new to airsoft dont start with a sniper role. if youve played for over a year then go ahead. if your going to get a l96 then get the maruzen l96. and if you cant afford or be willing to spend weeks just to tune your gun in and disassemble everyday and be willing to pay over 600 dollars for your gun without including gear then you should be a sniper.

Good point although if you look at a large majority of the wars/battles prior to WWI, that's exactly how you won. You'd punish your enemy (whether it was actual militants or just the general population) until they surrendered or were all dead. Very rarely were there acts of pity or mercy.
