  • ı want that 3 people that dislike video which person can do thissssssssssssssssssssss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Money is the root of all evil

  • Damn she told them

  • Yeh right by the time she's 25 she'll be driving around in a merc convertible

  • Yawn.

  • If any video should go Viral - this is the one! It should be seen and HEARD in every corner of the globe. ... and yet it's over 3 years old.

  • I got bored. Nothin special

  • Her Dad is a famous environmentalist in Canada.

  • no one cares fuck you bitch go home

  • Perhaps this will be the woman too embarrassed ever to open her mouth again when the manmade global warming nonsense is finally discredited. And it will happen!

  • @organisten

wow... i just dont understand how people like you develop such a retarded perspective.

Even IF global warming is proven to be some kind of spoof... do you honestly think the world is ok? that human kind is living sustainably? That the forests, the ocean, even the atmosphere are not being depleted and poisoned? Do you honestly think that humanity is not destroying the natural world?

You are focusing on one tiny piece of the conversation and using it to discredit the entire point.

  • @amadisdemitrius bullshit.

  • @amadisdemitrius your "argument" falls on its own unreasonableness. Regardless of these things, we are not talking about that.

  • @organisten

please do explain my "unreasonableness" and what "we" are talking about then. This time try to say something intelligent.

  • @amadisdemitrius we are NOT talking about the forrests, the ocean et cetera, and whether the world is ok. If you want to argue, you must stick to the point you are arguing. Since however you bring them into this, you should learn about non sequitur. When this silly girl says "you didn't have to worry about (the various things she worries about", this ASSUMES the worry is justified - let me just answer your first question, NO, I do NOT. But small comment fields here won't allow me to say more.

  • @organisten >=500 character fail

    learn english gooder

  • @amadisdemitrius refer to newer comment above.

  • @organisten go to hell!

maybe it's better just to shoot you into the universe without oxygen!

if you don't care for the world where you're living in, then get lost!

  • @Strassenkatze89 is that the best you can do - pitiful! Wholly incapable of presenting a case, you resort to personal abuse instead. Well, your contempt for me is therefore unsurpassed, by that I have for you! If you had any academic knowledge of worth, you should be utterly ashamed of yourself. By that little outburst - your little "temper tantrum" - I win the argument by *default*. But then such rules you know too little of...

  • @organisten wtf?! xD

    that is your argument?!

I just said what I'm thinking, that has nothing to do with "academic knowledge" who do you think you are? someone who passed a great university by kissing someones ass?

Yes! I'm angry because of your narrow-minded comment about that girl that is more brave and intelligent than a lot of people! also more than you because of your stupid comments!

    you disgust me!

  • @Strassenkatze89 my late father once remarked that there was one thing worse than snobbery: inverted snobbery. You are the perfect example. You dismiss intellectual reasoning so as not to challenge your own assumptions as to what is right in global warming, and to automatically be able to condemn every heretic who doesn't agree with you as "narrow minded". By definition it is you who are "narrow minded"!

  • @organisten

    so what?

I'm open for other arguments and opinions, but if the opinion is simply not right or just unfair against the person who is talking about it, I'm not ashamed of telling my opinion even with harsh words!

instead of throwing around with technical terms, just tell me, whats your problem!?

I'm saying what I think and I think that you just want to close your eyes and ignore the problems or better: you critizise them the best way you can do, because you don't have the same opinion

  • @Strassenkatze89 now you sound like someone who says they believe in freedom of speech, as long as people don't disagree with them. You are like the hypocrites who create "free speech zones". "If the opinion is *simply" not right or just unfair my foot! Technical terms? You tell me what is *your* problem? Are you *so* uneducated you think I have been using those? Perhaps you would care enlighten us which words you consider "technical" or better still yourself by enriching your own vocabulary.

  • @organisten yes I believe in freedom of speech! everyone on this planet has another opinion! if everyone would have the same opionion, something couldn't be right... Maybe I'm talking about "ethical principles", things that should be seen as right as "humanly" what do you always mean with "educated" or "uneducated"? do you think you're someone better because of "better" education? you're not! And if you think of discriminate me: English is not my native language! I'm from Germany!
  • @Strassenkatze89

and if you enjoy it to insult me and present myself as "uneducated" just go for it.

I don't give a damn, because it's not possible to talk with you in a normal way!

Think what you want, I'm just saying that you shouldn't be so full of yourself!

  • @Strassenkatze89 stick to your "ethical principles" first. The comment field doesn't allow more. What so-called "ethical principle" do you consider is broken, and WHY? This is the heart of the issue. You fail to see that some people (myself included) have researched anthropological climate change - and come to the conclusion that it is nonsense. Neither are we all paid off by big oil companies. Refer to friendsofscience org (can't post URLS so that they best I can do).

  • @organisten

so you think that it is useless to fight for a better environment?

that what the girl tries is useless?

that it's useless of doing anything to save the climate and reducing the speed of global warming?

that we should just sit around and waiting for our death because our planet is not worth being recued?

  • @Strassenkatze89 I despair. You can't infer that I think any such thing from what I have said. Second question, if related to a theory I in the first place have no credence in, yes! Global warming is NATURAL. Not only is it useless, but extremely ARROGANT that mankind deem he have the power to change it. Last question, doesn't follow. It assumes that the process is leading to our deaths - temperatures were much higher in the 1300s. It was called the Medieval Warm Period. Good day!

  • @organisten

I know that global warming is natural and that it always changes because of different influences.

but especially the human contributes that the global warming takes unimaginable impacts.

the waste of oil, petrol, electricity, water....

that the human is an insatiable being that causes the earth nothing but trouble.

If we plan on living on this planet for future years, we should change our habits and our waste of ressources immediately... and it makes me sad that others don't care!

  • Humans are responsible for only 3% of all CO2 emissions; nature the rest. CO2 is measured by parts per MILLION, so we are talking about a very tiny amount. I disagree with your second statement. Indeed, because of Peak Oil (and coal) there isn't enough fossil fuels left to do the damage IPCC is scared of. As for your statement regarding humanity, that is neo Malthusian crap. May I suggest you do a little reading of history. That sort of thinking, that humans are bad, has led to tragedy.

  • @organisten

"humans are bad and guilty because the talk and act without foreseeing the effect of their words and deeds"

    Franz Kafka

I think that this quotation says what I try to say.

I don't think that humans are generally bad.

But if you say that the human influence on all CO2 is just 3 %, than why is the global warming just increasing and not lowering?

  • @Strassenkatze89 I'll deal with your last statement. Refer to friendsofscience org, and many more. It ISN'T. There has been no significant global warming since 1998. More worrying, the "consensus" on this doesn't exist. You listen to the scientists who follow the political line. This is all about politics, not science. BUT even if it were true, the warming follows a trend from the Little Ice Age when temperatures were BELOW normal. Why ask me? Go read for yourself and see I tell you the truth.

  • @Strassenkatze89 indeed, go read for yourself.... at the moment you are like many other people: uncritically believing everything you are being served by the media. Politicians want you taxed for the air you breath - literally. CO2 is a perfectly natural, and essential gas. Come up with your own evidence on this, and I bet you'll be spouting what the politicians have told you. Oh dear, the Mann "Hockey Curve", premiss of the argument, even though it has been discredited a long time ago!

  • @organisten if you are so informed then tell me what the politicians say!

instead of saying "I know everything better than you, I'm the best informed, I know, I know, I know..."

TELL ME instead of showing up with empty words!

  • @Strassenkatze89 are you also lazy as well? I have given you a good reference already. How exactly are my words empty? Now, I didn't ask to be your personal educator; you came on here throwing insults at me, and so far you haven't put up much of an argument in your defence. Take a look at the reference I have shown you. If you know the information therein to be false, come back, demonstrate it and we'll continue this discussion.

  • @organisten

    wooooow 3% CO2 -.-

    I'm impressed -.-

  • @Strassenkatze89 so glad to hear it.

  • Comment removed

  • Why ain't she in the kitchen?

  • fuck yea shes canadian and in bc ta-boot

  • R.I.P She died yesterday

  • what an inspiring young woman! the UN delgaton seemed to applaud out of courtesy...although I am hoping it was not enthusiastic because they were reflecting on her words and seeing themselves in that reflection

  • In other words, this would be more accurately assessed by recognizing the deceit of the left to use a child to represent God-hating leftist philosophies.

    It's a con.

    Like father like daughter.

Conservation is a good thing. Sharing is a good thing. Not polluting is a good thing.

"There is no God and we have to save the world" is a bad thing. This summit was useless because these people ignore God. God is our help and obeying Him will bring right and effective answers to real problems.

  • The reason I hate the video is not that her complaints have no legitimacy; some of them echo Jesus' words. It's the reasons I mentioned below -- it's SO phony. These aren't her words; they're her mother's and father's and it's patently obvious. Her mother was a writer and her father is a geneticist and environmental activist. DUH. It doesn't take a genius to see she's a pawn of their BIASES and interests -- THAT's what makes it PHONY.

..and it's not the UN, it's the Earth Summit in Rio.

  • Yeah, right. A 13 year old is talking from the years of experience that she has had considering the realities of life and now she's sharing her wisdom .... and not the brainwashing she's received from the God-hating media, including television, radio, magazines and newspapers, along with the God-hating school authorities who have fed her leftist propaganda, fabrications, theories and lies and called them all "facts" and certainly not her leftist parents.

    lol

Sure, this is a wonderful video.

  • you right girl !!! kill them all !!!

  • I was silenced while i watched this video of just one twelve year old girl say all of that in front of the UN

  • wow, thats amazing.. but sadly, totally true. humans need to sort the world out once and for all.

  • fucking jewish gypsy subhuman propoganda video.there not even 100 peope listening to her.who said the world is silenced?

  • greedy jewish fucktards

  • wow....amazing....

  • Truly moving, inspirational speech. Sadly, it fell on deaf ears. We all have a responsibility to make this world a better place. Everyone can contribute...

  • what does that have to do wiht drinking tea?

  • this is well said and so true i hope the governments are listening

  • @wabe04 they not. the thing is greed isnt a big group. is small individual that doing it. like a disease effecting everyone once or twice.

  • @cavad my dear

what are u saying? i never mentioned the greed but while ur at it yes the friggen government is the greediest of all, the lies the decite and everything else will be exposed very soon and its not a small individual its all of them

  • @wabe04 u i just lost myself in my own word. well i not writing it down this the moment is gone so forget it

  • @cavad ok have a great sunday

    ciao

  • you have very good speech ...like you DAD... be someone who will change the world when you grown up young lady ...i give you 10 stars for the speech

  • @aoesanubon She actually is a 30 year old activist nowadays.

  • That speech was very very well wrote and spoken... I actually felt her pain.

  • It's delusional thinking like that, that keeps your country down. I am not alqeeda. I am a free thinker. I am done discussing this with you. I can't understand what your saying. You all over the place with your words. Get better at speaking english, and I'll be happy to finish this debate. Or maybe we could finish this debate over tea sometime. I'll be in Pakistan later this year.

  • I never said anything about any earthquake. I said there is no such thing as god. And your line of thinking is nuts! If people just sit on there ass and wait for a leader to save them. They will be waiting for eternity. It's up to US to change things! It's lazy thinking like yours thats polluting the minds of people now a days! Why do we need some leader to tell us what to do? Are we that infantile? Or that dependent on others that we cannot see a problem and solve it? I think not! Stop waiting!

  • There's no such thing as god you idiot!!! Why the fuck do people always bring some fictional character up when things go wrong or they get scared? It's stupid! Save yourself! Stop hoping and praying that some god will save you! Get off your ass and do it yourself!!!!!!

  • She gave me a moment of tears in my eyes...we humans are not thinking long-term enough when it comes to the way we exploit our planet. In the pehaps 200,000 years we humans have existed we have lived in balance with our environment. The harm done to our planet the last 200 years is more than the combined harm we've done of the previous 200,000 years of our homo sapiens history. With this rate we wont exist much longer if we don't change things.

  • how old is this video? and why the f*** did those people not listen.

  • If she prevented people from talking for 6 minutes....she must be a witch!!!!!!

  • How true!

Well spoken my dear if only the concerned understand and act.

  • Wow...I think I cried a little...lol so did my dad

  • she had them on hush mode

  • I agree with this 12-years-old kid, but was it made by herself? It's easy to make something like this, but the fact? We still face the same problem! If you believe this girl can change the world, why don't we call her again to speak at the UN?

  • This world is all about money

  • This Girl Could Be A Role Model Not To Those Who Dont Care But To Those Who Do So Please Keep Your Negative Thoughts To Yourself, Some People Love That She Said Those Things Cause They Are Afraid To Speak Up, Have Some Hope For She Is Doing What She Believes In.

  • What a wonderful, wise, loving heart !

I'm a 58 year old mother of 3 granny of 4, I fell the same way and my heart brakes everyday, when I look at my peers and nature, and see how little we care.

I still believe that human kind will regain their humanity back... is worth more than it's actions and that we'll start honoring who, what and where we are.

So, every time I wake up, brush myself up, love more, stretch my hand further, give more of myself, think before I act and dream a wiser world.

  • The idea is there, but applicability is impossible in the real world. The real world is not a wonderland or storybook.

  • im 15 y/o , this kid is wating her time and money on trying to convince political pricks to change their ways, nobody listens to kids. by the way your username explains your personality

  • poor girl doesnt know what the world is all about :)

  • She speaks the truth but fails to realise that the world just lacks justice and people will never care because they only look out for there own backs......

And since 1992 the world has just got a whole lot worse.......

  • If as you said the people only looked out for their own backs, the WORLD would be a great place... for we should always wish the best for us !!!!!!

  • to alex.

    you r 100% right.

    (bloody deaf un).

  • she's a good speaker.

  • she's a little girl. she doesn't know how the world works. she doesn't understand that the world is corrupt. our "leaders" don't care about us.

  • i know u right but she was right

  • i don't get it this is weird!!!!!!!!

  • i wonder if she will still be so passionate about what she says in 10 years time..

  • She speaks the truths of a CHILD! Something that all Adults (ok, 99.9%) seem to have lost. She is correct on ALL aspects. Everything she stated is true. We aduts have become LIARS and CHEATERS. She is speaking for my children and ALL children of the world. She sees the world and how it can be "fixed" in the best way. WE, adults, need to start listening and learning from out children. They instictively know what needs to be done. We just need to help them accomplish this.

  • what? a 12 year old girl spoke like this? yes this is possible, it depends on the kind of upbringing one person have or your family is full of dumb parents teaching their children to hate. Yes, this is the mind of a 12 year old.

  • she was great but the rich will not listen to her .the likes of paris hilton and posh spice with there 5,000 dollar handbags and kids are starving it will always be like that its a bad world out there

  • She speaks well, but unfortunately the speech is too scripted and too dramatic.

  • She is also only 12, so being able to write this herself is amazing.

Most adults couldn't speak more truthfully.

  • Well said.. this will be a good education material for everyone in the world.

  • gud jeb

  • This child is brilliant. Although she did not propose any definite solutions, she is a child after all, she called on the adults to stand up for their actions and to think about what they are doing. She did not criticize them and say they are wrong, THAT would be empty, but instead she spoke from her heart choosing powerful words to hopefully wake up those listening. It was very moving and I commend her bravery to stand up for what she believes in. There should be more like her!

  • this is amazing.

  • this girl is terrific!!!!!!!!

dont hate just cuz she is 13 yrs and smarter than you!

Embrace the wisdom and boldness in her.

    cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Money is the root of all Evil and we will all die because of it "

    Happy Holidays!

  • This was moving.

    Allahu Akbar.

  • The sad thing is that 5 minutes after the speech all the delegates would have forgotten about it and it becomes business as usual and money as usual. All that matters when the UN and governements make decisions is - ECONOMICS. But they don't truly understand economics because because they don't understand net economic profit - just short term cash flow and economic effects.

It's a pity that the people that get chosen for these high-up positions are generally pathetic 'do-nothings'.

  • @fuzzman999 You're completely wrong about the UN's agenda. Hating God and hating Israel is a greater priority than money to them.

  • I wish she were old enough to be a Vice Presidential candidate. Instead we're stuck with trailer-trash!!

  • A certain candidate scares me. Shooting Moose is a good thing?! Drilling for oil is a solution to the energy crisis?!

  • That's why you must vote for Barack Obama. Take a chance and trust him. McCain is so senile, his choice of VP just shows how barren his judgment is. Obama is the only one who has a plan to address this Albertan's concerns.

  • People have to listen ... people have to watch ... people have to heed. Spread the message. It may be the warning that people will listen to.

  • More people NEED to listen to this. All ages

  • Thank you for your bravery and honesty. We hear you and agree. Noone could have said it better than the pure heart of a child. Moved to tears and action.

  • where is she now? Is she still interested in this cause?

  • I hope she is.

  • @jmgronski /wiki/Severn_Cullis-Suzuki

    watch this out :)

  • @iPerSeM on wikipedia...

    youtube doesnd permise link..

  • Amen

    Canadians are so darn cool

  • It's rare for me to be moved by an YouTube video. This one made me cry.
