@dkraiderfan They really are. This is not just some generic punk band, I don't even know if I would call them a punk band, really, but it's genius. And I think they were at the height of their powers with this album.

@roidroid Ditto. I tried the other day, w/o anything to jog my memory, (15 yrs? 20?) I got screwed up near where he says "Now Stuart, Do you think a kid like that is..." and then I entirely gapped on the brilliant "transition" between the letter from Pueblo and the Bill Jr. Story. I should have guessed how forced and unnatural itd be: "A few days after that a letter arrives, addressed to Bill Jr, (the story of whose unlikely decapitation I just went into total detail on for no reason")
@jmoltzen No, for one thing this guy likes to ramble. Another thing is that this pamphlet was meant for his son who had just died, and because of how vulnerable and impressionable he was at this time of tragedy, and factor in, again, this was something Bill Jr. had sent in for, he took it as his life calling. I know I might be reading too far into it but this is how I always saw it lol
