@HermesDo it doesnt matter what jiu jitsu is about, men are stronger than women... and in any sport you play, strength training will only make you better, all the way down to golf.. i used to wrestle with my cousin who's a girl. she was great at track, has really powerful legs, she beats me and many other guys plus all the girls. but when we are playing around and wrestling, she has no chance, i will overpower her naturally every time by pure will power. thats life, i do the same to guys.

From what I've learned from observing male vs female wrestling and interacting with wrestling, not ALL males have a strength advantage, perhaps most and not all of the weaker males are necessarily out of shape. I think genetics, fitness level, training all play a role in a female's and male's strength. There are exceptions.

@imtheism in jiu jitsu you don't get reversal points like in wresting, you get sweap points. The only way you can get points for sweeping is if you're legs motioned the sweep, or if he reversed me then gotside control. A scramble like tha is 0 points.

@SuperManPrime1000000 i'm not saying it's not worth its marbles in the ring.... but as far as the sport goes... the spectators like standing up more, and most fighters like standing up more.... wrestling is worth knowing though, i'm going to train in wrestling before i start fighting, just in case i'm in that position... but i would only use it to get out of a submission, not to tap someone out..... thats still pretty lame

@racketkid38 very true. But in this case, this guy was clearly more flexible then me. It was actually kind of annoying how i had side control on me and his legs were flexible enough to keep trapping me. Boys DO have a strength advantage though, especially at this age.

From what I've learned from observing male vs female wrestling and interacting with wrestling, not ALL males have a strength advantage, perhaps most and not all of the weaker males are necessarily out of shape. I think genetics, fitness level, training all play a role in a female's and male's strength. There are exceptions.

@imtheism in jiu jitsu you don't get reversal points like in wresting, you get sweap points. The only way you can get points for sweeping is if you're legs motioned the sweep, or if he reversed me then gotside control. A scramble like tha is 0 points.

I always go advanced in tournaments, it's just a matter of who trained harder and wants it more. I didn't think my losses were "the point" to get credibility. I just don't see the point of posting losses. You want to post something you're proud of right?
