I have been following you video clips, found them very interesting. You are a real tourist; thank you from the hart for promoting our county and people. That is what we really need to change the perception of our county by the westerns. I cannot thank you enough.
@Rasxilinx How very nice of you. Ethiopia is a wonderful country with wonderful people, and I agree, it's a shame that more of us Ferengi don't visit. I just wrote a new guide to your country and uploaded to Kindle on Amazon today, with the same message as my previous two books, go and visit! Best regards, Travels With Sheila
Sheila, you are so brave to have drunk that "Taich" stuff. Did you ever get sick from drinking out of glasses like that? It seems like the sanitation could not have been that great.
@sfflyer123 I've actually found that the more remote the area, the less I become ill. My worst cases of food poisoning took place on a CRUISE Ship, and in a good restaurant in Ankara, Turkey. Our cook took scrupulous care and always said what I could or couldn't safely eat; he wouldn't let me eat tomatoes in a restaurant.
@travelswithsheila Wow, great to know. I think part of it is that you had a personal cook. He had to be accountable for your safety. I think when it's an anonymous cook in the kitchen, their less likely to be clean without accountability.
