The RAM and GPU are good here comparatively speaking. ATI and Nvidia chips on more expensive laptops beat its texture fill rate. Just get a core 2 quad(also socket p) and you should average around 30 fps.

You run its little slow i can see i do it to. and that because intel core 2 duo its not the best cpu to this game.

Wow the difference between GT104M and GT220M is amazing! But the laptop that i'm getting has GT320M and 4g of ram, with 2.20 cpu speed. Would that be good for playing GTA4 and games like MW2?

It's pretty much like my Asus X70I.

The 320M is based on the old 9600M GT like the 220M, so it's not much more powerful. My laptop's specs are the following:

Intel Pentium T4400 Dual-Core @ 2.2GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GT 220M

4GB.

And it runs MW2 maxed with no AA at 1280x720 perfectly well at least on single player. I have a pirated version so I don't know about multiplayer, but I think multiplayer is a big lighter with smaller maps and less action.

Also Crysis Warhead with custom configs.

Okay... but this is NOT smooth at all.

I've got the same laptop you've got by the way :P But haven't tried it with GTA4 yet... it's just underpowered for that game.

But do you really enjoy playing at this kind of frame rate? I'm spoiled maybe but I prefer smoothness all the time, no stuttering or slowdowns, and GTA4 seems to be a game that runs laggy even at 20-30 fps.
