I don't have a job, but I'm a student at college so it's not really a huge concern. I never had a job and I'm 18. I looking into working at Mcdonalds just to have some working background experience and some extra cash. I DID have 2 best friends as of yesterday, but they say they hate me for whatever reason. I have two other friends, but it's hard to hang out with them because one is always busy and the other one works plus school. But we are hanging out next weekend so it's all good.

I worked in customer service in Company X for 1.5 months, where my job was to spend the whole day on the phone with angry customers. It drains every drop of joy and happiness from you, until eventually you hate life, hate yourself, hate everything because you have to go back to that horrible place every day and absorb people's negativity for 8 hours. Just don't even go there, trust me.

I did the same thing this February. I didn't know anyone in Sydney, but if you're studying it will be easy to make friends. Just remember that they might be very different from your old friends. That's what happened to me, but I've accepted that now.
