Those old redbirds are being put to good use throughout the country. here in new York ,we have one outside a courthouse being used as a visitor's center.

They put attatched a trolley pole because they don't have 3rd rails at the museum, so they had to do a minor modification.

It's the Seashore Trolley Museum and I believe they own them, so they will be there permanently.

how did maine get those trains and why were they using them? was it a festival or what?

They are at the Seashore Trolley Museum and they have a "Rapid Transit Day" where they bring out all of the trains and put the trolleys away.
