those who say it's a supernova - they're FOOLS... there r novas (same as supernova jsut not as big). ur homeplanet is a yellow star (not enough to make a supernova) but if u delete the game file... I heard that when you delete them they supposedly create a nova... I never deleted so I dunno... however that's a new star

black holes are entry portals into the "unknown" and wormholes are exits for any matter that passes through the black hole. In the game, it inacurately assumes that it works both ways. But we all have to remember its just a video game and it cant possibly be real in all aspects.

it will form.instructions:once u c a proto star forming,look at it for 10 secs and get out.wait until about 3 billion yrs passes (in the game) and come back,there will be a solar system there.if not,its just a failed birth so itll stay forever.most births in spore fail,so consider urself lucky if u find an active proto star =P

Indeed, binaries systems are not rare formations (like you said,they´re commom =D), there is even a theory that the Sol System is Binary (because at least every 68 million years the gravity of the earth turns and leaves bodies of the universe, such as comets, create mass extinctions) ... for that I say Spore have to get better theorems of physics,but it´s Rock!
