@mastermary2 Im a Game collector and own the original NES with both Mario Original versions (with and with out duck hunt). Im not sure how you did it but iv never been able to pass threw a plant like that. And the only time iv been able to jump off the tubes with a plant going up is as a mini. Also plants dont go up if your standing still on the pipe.

Im not calling you a fake im just saying it looks really odd to me that you managed to get threw those point with out touching.

@DeletedSpace I agree and after re-watching it a couple times and pulling out the NES for test run iv noticed that NO you can not touch the plants what so ever. Exp: 3:53 there is no way that your not dead. And i completely agree with ou deletedspace those fire rings should had killed you right away. The first one MAYBE but the second one is a killer. Iv played mario allot and if you complete the level fast you often get fireworks for bonus points. no fireworks?

And there is a sizable clearance for jumping over and partly through piranha plants without getting hurt. Also the timer is not in seconds. It is a bit faster than seconds. A tad. 2-things Number one At 1:19 he is touching those plant-eaters and not being eaten and Number Two 4:58 he totally hitting the fire traps(twice) and still did not die. I own this game and one touch and your Dead not, unless you are Big Mario or Fire Mario.

Not fake. FOr one, the plant eaters he touches have a special box of kill, it is possible to jump them in a single bound, skimming the tops of them like he did in the video. I do alot on my version for the NES. Second, the first time he hits that fire thing he is actually fine, I've pulled that one off to, I thought I was going to die but I never did. So the same thing applies with the second one. This is possible and is not fake, just very hard.

Plug in your old NES and start SMB and see for youself... I've done it and all I can say is that it isn't fake. The timer isn't in seconds, you can run over caps and you can jump over the plants... I haven't completed it though... that last castle is a fucking labyrinth!
